Embarrassing, shambles, no plan. Done.
AK should have had a red.

Seeing it again. Where both Phil Neville and Jermain Jenas pointed Out the frailtys of our defence and where our defenders midfield and wide man were when Bournemouth scored their goals, we were all over the place.
It was embarrassing and a horror show. As for the dive, shame on AK.

Seeing the defensive woes spelt out on motd was shocking. They have been working on the basics all week remember. They can claim to have made no progress AT ALL since the start of the season

Facts Not Fiction

This is all on jokanovic. Today, the organisation was non existent.

Yep, it's all about discipline, both in terms of positional play and personal conduct. Today's game was a tour de force from the team in showing none of either.

A shambles indeed. Weekly stuffings will be the order of the day from now on until the coaching changes.

Three 1 0 wins in a row from Brighton & Hove Albion, that's how you negotiate the Premier League when you have to.
It's all about being difficult to score against for teams like Brighton Bournemouth and Fulham. After that you can loosen the reigns.
They have learnt very quickly and are both very disciplined as are their managers.
They are a lesson and an example to Fulham and how to become a Premier Division Team for the long term.

Not only has there been no progress. But to be honest we seem to be going backwards. Players and system look more confused every match we play.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Watching it you notice something's that happen that you miss at the match in the heat of the moment.
Christ that 3rd goal was Sunday league defending, disgraceful.

What I also noticed on MOTD was, even though we were bad the commentator kept making remarks like he hated us or the manager with  passion.

This sort of  public analysis humiliation, pointing out the shambles we've  become, won't help the players get back on track.

But what will? What is the reason for this top manager and players  playing like this?  Must be a lot to do with so many new players  trying to be made into a team at such short notice. The shambolic defeats are making us even worse , out defending even more disastrous.
Confidence and coherence seem shot.

We need to hope things can be sorted out one way or another.

The commentator is a full blown Chelsea supporter which made his scathing comment on AK and his dive, hypocritical.

Yes he was well over the top with his comments on a few things...

Firstly, I wonder whether the O.P. has seen that his thread calling for Jokanovic to be sacked a year ago has been revived: events since have proved that it was the wrong call back then - I hope that time will show it to be the wrong call now.

Secondly, I agree with M&T that, despite yet another poor showing, Jonathon Pearce's relentless denigration of our defending did his reputation as a commentator no favours whatsoever.

Thirdly, for what my opinion's worth, in our current predicament, I would like to see Jokanovic build our defence around our most physically strong centre-back - i.e. Mawson - and partner him with whomever he can forge the best understanding on the training pitch. In midfield, perhaps we have to give Anguissa a run in the team (alongside Cairney and Seri) in the hope that he can adapt quickly to the pace of the PL and thus prove more useful than either McDonald or Johansen. Up front, I would go for Sessegnon and Vietto to support Mitrovic and leave out Schurrle - who may prove more influential as a substitute. If we enjoy better luck with injuries, I believe we can steer ourselves to safety - the way the season has started, it may require as few as 31 points.

Vietto being dropped has suprised me as I felt he has been very good in the 3 up top with 4 assists,as for AK he had a stinker of a game.
The piont that MOTD team pionted out was the the cherries defensive shape from being coached correctly and slav should show our shower of a defence the correct positions defensively to everyone of our defenders.

Agree with you about Vietto.  He and Mitro have been the best signings over the summer.  Vietto is creative going forward and was ranked second in the PL for assists before yesterday despite limited playing time.  It is Vietto's absences which make me think SJ's is thrashing about desperately when it comes to team selection.

I forced myself to watch MOTD. I was horrified to see where our defenders were for the 2nd & 3rd goals. They were everywhere except where they should have been. I have never seen such poor defensive organization in all my years. However I do not agree that SJ should go. I would not want someone like Allardyce, Pulis, Moyes, Rodgers, McCarthy or any of the other journeymen managers. They would just rip us off financially with no guarantee of success.

The club have to sort out the problems from within. The only addition would be to find a specialist defensive coach & go back to bacics. However, SJ has at some point , to change his philosophy to meet the current situation.

To be fair, Phil Neville's analysis was rather excellent, concise and to Fulham fan rather heartbreaking. Normally these pundits speak such waffle, but he was spot on with no messing about.

Johnathon Pearce's  commentary on the other hand was hilariously over the top, I have watched it a few times now and blimey that was something else.

From the anaylisis, with our defenders on the half way line whilst Bournemouth score, it is clear we are playing a form of Total Football.... Totally poo Football :)

Watched highlights this morning and agree that AK was lucky not to be sent off, although for his yellow I have seen worse dives not given a card. Perhaps Mo Salah should have got one for his fall in the Liverpool game, bearing in mind he went down looking for a penalty.

What was evident was that our defence was all over the place, centre halves out of position along with giving the ball away far too easily, Seri need to step and have a bit more aggression.

fulhamben

I'm still not sure ak dived. He got straight up and went back after the ball without even appealing, very possible that he just lost his footing
