Apparently was helping Hilda do the teas one morning, when he slipped on her new baked Victoria Sponge he knocked off the table.
Hilda smacked him with a wooden spoon and apparently hasn't been seen since...Well that's what I've heard.😝

I think his "sickness" is due to the fact he realises he is not good enough for the job.

Very cruel
Certainly was, Hilda had that spoon since she was a child and very upset having broken it into 3 pieces.

2 weeks ... flu could last that long.. but 3 weeks maximum and from that injury report it sounded like he was nowhere near returning.

Something smells fishy.. and Im not talking about the contents of Baldricks Apple crumble

He has made me feel sick watching him loaf around the pitch as if he is on an afternoon stroll in the park.
Let alone his failure to make a tackle.

I had a virus after Christmas and it lasted over a month so I have some sympathy for him. I can assure you I didn't pass it on to him as he got nowhere near me on the halfway line. 😜

I'm not convinced we'll see him again in a Fulham shirt. I heard he's in Germany.
First game: Fulham 4 Burnley 0, December 12th 1998.

Hopefully he feels better, that's a long time to be sick. Fulham reject to some fans or not, he's still under 30 years old and have to be concerned for anyone going through something like that.

Not sure if my memory is playing tricks but did Schurrle do ok against Palace on his debut?  August seems a longtime ago but I'm sure I recall him running at & beating a few defenders?  Also a strong penalty claim.

Well, his peak fitness is barely enough so it doesn't have to be a bad illiness.

He has had four managers in under a year, maybe his getting a little confused.
