The set up in The Putney End next season, how will it work ?

The Club have explained to us that next season there will be no mixed area in The Putney End,  just a Home section and an away section, which is fair enough,
But they have also stated that the concourse behind the stand is going to be totally mixed, but they haven't really explained how this utopia is going to work, so does anybody know ?
I'm hoping we have a first half next season whereby we are 2 or 3 up at half time, especially if it's against QPR, Leeds, Derby or Luton , then all the supporters mix do they when they go off for their pint or their cuppa ? Doesn't make sense to me , and I neglected to even mention Millwall or Cardiff !
But just imagine we end up in the play offs again with all the drama and tension they bring, for the life of me I can not begin to imagine how a mixed concourse would work that night, any ideas ?

If the club think even in todays football that there's not likely to be flash points before during and after the game at the Putney end then they must be deluded and held responsible for any trouble. I fail to see why they could not partition the entrance in and the concourse.
The only slight positive and it is slight is that away fans will not be there in large numbers.

What is capacity for away fans?
Imagine it will be sold out most weeks in away section.
Away fans love a day out at the Cottage.

Sorry but hasn't the Putney End been mixed  with Fulham fans, Neutral fans, and the Visiting team fans sharing the same concourse???

Yes it has. At times it is close to a 50/50 mix but more often than not we are/were the minority and with the mix P1 and P2 attracted we were miles off a posse, massive, crew whatever. Apart from the odd alcohol induced spat I have not seen too many problems although of course of late we have had very little to goad the opposition about. Cardiff were actually a good crowd and Millwall you just ignore but I do agree there might be more of an edge with the perpetual failures of Leeds and Derby and the new boys looking to flex their collective muscle if we are doing well against them by half time. Over the last couple of seasons there does seem to be a return of the yob developing.
In my experience, which to be fair was limited last season, there is more angst about the queue, don't queue methodology for the food outlets and the prehistoric toilets.

I agree with the confusion.

I thought perhaps they'd install another temporary exit taking away fans out through the park, so they could segregate fans under the stand.

Either that, or continue to hold out the "home" section as neutral, although that would seem impossible if they're ST holders

I understood the reason for us having a neutral section was that FA/FL rules prohibit us from putting home and away fans in the same stand without segregation.

Does anyone have the club's comments in full that they could copy-paste here, perhaps? I haven't seen them.

I don't really see how the set up will be different from before -  during various prem games tickets were sold only to Fulham fans and the same as at the play off vs derby when fans mixed freely on the concourse. I recall sitting in Putney end for a Brentford game as well when fans mixed. Similarly qpr at home sold out. I don't recall there being in trouble on the mixed concourse. Still, we'll see what happens when billy big bollocks Leeds or millwall pay us a visit.

As a sedate Riversider, transferred against his will to the Putney End, I must ask if it is common practice for the home hoi polloi there to stand frequently.  As a 66 year-old I get hacked off with having to stand to watch a game - something which never happened at the Riverside - even for the goal action.
