Personally I don't think it is right to be nominating players who had their best years elsewhere e.g. Best, Moore.
So for me it has to be the Maestro - John Norman Haynes with honourable mentions for Allan Clarke, George Cohen, Les Barrett, Graham Leggatt. In more modern times has there been a better player than Louis Saha. Incredible ball control, fantastic heading ability and could shoot with either foot. He wins it for me although Dembele was also a special talent
