I just can't understand the level of fighting on this forum .

I understand emotions run high and we all care about our wonderful club but please can we stop the name calling and telling people where to go. The great thing about football is that we are all entitled to a different view just beacuse i dont agree with a post or an opinion doesn't give me the right to call you names .

What are we teaching the younger people who read this forum after all it is called friends of fulham not enemies of fulham.

Mods can we not issue people with warnings when the overstep the mark and on the 3rd occasions log them out for a few days .

Agree with your sentiment, but not the note re mods and warning/strikes - that is both not manageable, but also stops the point of a forum; it is to discuss views, and some will vary. If someone becomes obviously abusive, fine, but arguments are part and parcel.

I've no problem with the different views like you have just put across a good point that doesnt agree with mine but you didnt go down the road of calling a pr$$k or worse that was my point about the mods

I personally have not been offended or upset by remarks on this forum but i do think its very easy to have a go at somebody and then say it was only a windup .I just think people need to be careful what they post as we don't  know other peoples state of mind .

I am glad people have a different point of view otherwise the world would be a very boring place we just don't need to have a go at people who's opinion differs

As football forums go this is one of the more "well-behaved" ones around, in so far as if there is excessive name-calling, bad language etc. or anything remotely approaching something libelous then we will act on it and moderate accordingly. We hope that we have the balance just about right, but as us mods are only human we may not get it right 100% of the time.

My own view is to view FOF as a virtual pub. So just be who you would be within a typical social setting and you won't get many "keyboard warriors" or WUMs on here as a result.

I hate to disagree but check the abuse i get. I have in the last day been unpleasantly told i do not know anything about football, and that is truly  the worst thing i have had said, been called an **** hea etc.

I merely state my views. Others are entitled to diagree but there are a few unfortunates thzt do resort to insult. I discuss football matters and the club and want things better.

If a particular poster annoys you constantly. Then there is always an ignore button you can use to stop reading their stuff.

It is apparent and has been for a few years that the good natured banter that was once laughed at and despite the name calling would soon settle down. Feels like it changed and posters decided go too far. Which in turn leads to sarky comments and rudeness.

We do all support the same side and I do wonder why we need the insults against players and owners and fans. Criticism is fine but let's keep it civil.

ALGOI, don't let the bar stewards get you down, don't let them bully you into submission, I have no problem with your posts, and if I did I would either move on or debate it with you, with maybe some harmless banter. But I have seen some of the abuse you have received, they are just showing their ignorance of social skills. Yes it is irritating but this forum is an oasis of tranquility compared to most.
