Well summed up. It was Knockaert having to point out that the Cardiff players weren't 10 yards from the corner. Embarrassed the ref and he didn't like it.

This is Fulham. Last season we lose that game. We had poor first half but did well with 10 men and were on top before the red. We're far from the finished product but the mentality is far better than last season.

Have to say, as much as this post is blunt, it's spot on. We either rate this team and squad to be capable of beating miserable teams away or we don't and accept we aren't top 2. This start to the season as been below par considering our starting fixtures and if forest at home isnt achievable we need to be taking points away. Give Cardiff respect as a tough away fixture but they were prime pickings tonight and again, we met points drop when we have harder fixtures coming. I'm starting to get worried this team is dropping away already from a top 2 finish.

Agree with this. Problem is lack of movement, midfirld three need to do more to create options.

Strange lot we are. Half think we were poor & half said we played well. I thought it was a gritty performance especially when down to 10. Happy with the point in the end. Perhaps one day the EFL will make appointments at Specsavers for all the officials.

Can someone explain why Arter gets a yellow for a dive (when his back leg was touched), yet Flint, doesnt get a yellow forn a dive? Ref didn't give a pen so it must have been a dive.... poo refs again.

Because Flint's dive took place in a crowded area with the ball a little distance away and his action was only clear upon seeing the replay. Perhaps we should be thankful that Flint did fall: had he tried to run from Cairney, it may have been apparent that our captain had hold of his shirt (a la Luiz on Salah the other week).

But the ref waved it away so he saw it... so then it's a booking for simulation

Don't keep on about 10 men,Coventry only had 9 second half at Portsmouth a fortnight ago,and scored twice.😉

I thought Cardiff were there for the taking, obviously the red card reduced our chances and naturally we defended what we had, so under the circumstances it was a point won.
When we have possession as much as we do, there has to be more movement off the ball, that's my only criticism. So I am relieved we brought a point away from a difficult place, with one man shy.
I cannot see Cardiff in the top six going by what I saw tonight. But I can see Fulham progressing all the way through the season.
Under SP, we are far more street wise and tenacious, and we have more leaders and characters. Given the same circumstances last years team would have lost tonight.

If the referee had actually had a good game tonight then Warnock would have had a heart attack and the game would have been abandoned.
