Our lack of attacking options

Last night, our only attacking option on the bench was the headless chicken , so again, where were Ayite and Kebano ?
They both earn more than a heart surgeon,  and for what ? Those new contracts are currently looking to be a complete and utter waste of money.

The disappearance of Kebuna and Ayite from any of our line ups (first team/cup team/reserves) is a bit odd. Either injured, being kept in cold storage for a post xmas surge up the table, possible agreed sale in the next transfer window but on the proviso that they remain "uninjured", not giving anything in training, or being used as a demonstration to others as to what happens if you don't put in any effort.
Same goes for Cisse to a certain extent.
Whatever, it's a load of monthly wages' cash going out for nothing in return

And in my view, Ayite and Kebano both decent players, especially at this level, and  maybe with a point to prove.

The signing of Reid marginalizes them a bit, but I think they deserve more inclusion in the squad.

Ayite was in Jokanovic's best XI in the promotion season. He has the ability and the right attitude. Agree it is very odd that he's not getting a look in.

I was surprised that Ayite didn't make the bench yesterday particularly with Bobby Reid out. Kebano I can understand because we have better options.

In the early games and particularly against Millwall Mitro, Knockaert  and Cavaliero with Kamara as an impact sub looked like a very strong strike force , better than anything else in the Championship. It would have been unwise to disturb them.
However in recent games they have faded a little and soon we may see Ayite and Kebano given game time.

you say that but after his injury over last 20 games including playoffs he started 7(and didn't finish any) ,came on as sub 5 times and was out of squad for 4 games. hardly part of best XI looking at that.

Had this discussion on here before, and a similar discussion about Kalas. Fact is, for the best part of two years, with all players available those two would be in the starting XI. Both suffered injuries coinciding with a 4-month undefeated streak and Kamara/Odoi hitting a purple patch, that's why they lost their place during that exceptional period.

agree on Kalas, but he came back with 17 games left in season.

Facts Not Fiction

Ayite, Kebano and Reid should all be in above Kamara IMO.

We have the depth, not sure why Parker doesn't rate them.

Agreed

Kamara maybe offers something the others don't - he can power his way through with sheer pace and strength. He made a great assist for Mitro the other week v Forest..

We would have had Reid but he is on loan so couldn't play. I think it  will be fine
