Watching MOTD, a few familiar names were featured. So, a quiz question:
Who are the 14 former FFC players who have a squad number in this season's Premier League?

The Rational Fan

I think its 15 players with squad numbers, as Smalling kept his #12.

GK: David Button
Andy Lonergan
Maarten Stekelenburg

DF: Ryan Fredericks
Timothy Fosu-Mensah
Matt Targett
Richard Stearman
Dan Burn
Chris Smalling (ManU #12, but playing at Roma)

MF:Calum Chambers
Oliver Norwood
Harvey Elliott

FW: Patrick Roberts
Jordan Graham
Ryan Sessegnon

BKLondon

Smalling not on the final Premier League registration. Nor is Jordan Graham (what happened to him?)
Another two:
Dennis Adeniran (#35 Everton)
Sheji Ojo (#54 Liverpool)

Jordan Graham was on the final Premier League registration, but not a squad number. Wolves could give him a number, but obviously not bothered.

Chris Smalling has squad number #12, but not on the final Premier League registration.

Sheji Ojo may have both, but has been loaned to play for Glasgow Rangers.

Fernhurst

Very fond of him but was amazed Scotty Malone was picking up Premiership wages and Tom Cairney wasn't.

Richard Stearman !!! Is he still with Sheff United??
Well done to his agent for negotiating that deal.
The atmosphere's fresh and the debate lively.

Well, don't think I'm bothered about any of them - they would struggle to get in our squad. We are going on a run !

That list shows what a funny old game it is!
With 3 or 4 exceptions there's nobody I would feel happy about in my PL squad.

Yes, only four on that list would be on my return home list.
Love to think we are going on a run, but how difficult was it Friday to squeeze a result from a team who struggle on one of the smallest budgets in the league?
Reading having a very up and down season so far, let's hope we improve attacking wise and they have one of their off days.
Do believe we need these three points to meet our 10 game points target for promotion.
The atmosphere's fresh and the debate lively.

I would really welcome back Fredericks and Targett, no doubt they would improve our present team.
Always liked Dan Burn and playing him alongside Chambers could work while Sess and Roberts would add real class to our wings.
Would we get those six for £100m I wonder.

I'd go along with Fredericks and Targett and a few others from BKLondon's listing in reply #12

Just missing having at least one centre forward.

Stefano Okaka - #33.

Think he signed permanently for Udinese earlier this month

You're right. He was on loan but has recently moved on a permanent transfer.

GJB

Unsure what Targett would add over and above what Bryan offers us currently.

No doubt that Bryan is doing well for us just now but Targett was so good in that promotion season. His crosses in particular were delightful. If we used him just to take corners it would be worthwhile.
