After back to back wins you would expect to be able to say same line up as last game but in fact there is strong competition and therefore doubt in three places.
At right back will it be Odoi or Sess.
At wide left will it be Cav. or Reed .
At holding mid will it be Ried or Arter.
I think we will start with:-

                                                               Betts
                                     Odoi         Ream            Mawson          Bryan
                                                                Arter
                                                 Johanen               Cairney

                                      Knock                 Mitro                   Cav.

Essential that Reed replaces Arter on the first sign of him getting a yellow card.

I'd start Reed over cav all day long
CHRIS MARTIN IS SO BAD,  WE NOW PRAISE HIM FOR MAKING A RUN.

KJS

I think once again I will let Scotty P decide

Think you have your Reeds/Reid's the wrong way round?

Read Reed as Reid

General

To be honest, I'm not sure there's a huge difference... I think our style works for all our players and all our squad players (with Kamara being the weakest link for me as things stand). although I would say my preferred CM three are Arter, Johansen and Cairney - seems more attack minded.

I'd stick with Reed over Cav.
Siblings, let us not be down on it.
One total catastrophe like this...is just the beginning !

Woolly Mammoth

Reed over Cav any day any time, Cav is a luxury we cannot afford. In fact come to think of it, he is not even a luxury.
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘

Never forget your Roots.

Spirit of 2000

The rest picks itself IMO. The either or decisions are:
Sessegnon or Odoi?
Arter or Reed?
Reid or Cavaleiro?

I liked Reid on the left as he played a lot like Ryan Sess use to play with us in that he was always sniffing round goal waiting to be in the right spot at the right time.  I'd keep him in the starting XI.

I could see Stef Jo maybe getting a rest but I'm not sure who I would drop in that space if Bobby Reid is out on the left.
Anyone can blend into the crowd.  How will you standout when it counts?

Spirit of 2000

No need to rest Stef Jo as yet. He's only just come back into the side. Would personally play Reid over Cav though.

stef jo hasn't actually started many games this season has he, and he has been a real engine for us in midfield of late

Agree and Stef Jo is as vital to the balance of this midfield as Cairney

Andyb

Stef is key to our midfield!

Sorry, I will try to get my head around it and certainly before we play Reading at home.

rogerpbackinMidEastUS

I can't imaging we've seen anything like the best of Cav.
Being dropped this week was a kick up the bum for him and I'm sure
next time he's picked he'll come out all guns blazing.
Good move b Scotty
VERY DAFT AND A LOT DAFTER THAN I SEEM, SOMETIMES

The Rational Fan

It seems Parker was rotating the players in to save their legs for Charlton.

I think Parker should stick to his plan this week playing S.Sess, Reed and Cav.

Because these players are so similar in standard, whoever has the fresher legs is better.

EJL

I'm out of the loop because work has meant I've missed a lot of games. Why is Cav all of sudden not worth the fuss?
