yes, but no one would be as stupid as us to pay anywhere near that for him. Take a loss, free up some wages and create a squad place.

yes, but no one would be as stupid as us to pay anywhere near that for him. Take a loss, free up some wages and create a squad place.

I don't think he's anywhere near doing enough to make the starting XI at this level but he can be a useful Piazon-type squad player. If we're trying to maintain some level of squad cohesion, then IMO players like Knockaert shouldn't be shipped out, just pushed down the pecking order. He always shows the right attitude and seems to get on with the other French lads.

original agreement was a loan with obligation to buy is why.Otherwise we never would of bought him. Poor last season and definitely not PL class

I was super excited by his signing.

Thought he would score and assist a good bit.

I thought he was more or less awful last season.

Works hard which is appreciated but that's about it

By his own admission Knockhaert hasn't performed well since he joined us.
I would like to give him a chance playing some Prem games as he may surprise.
At least he showed more passion and commitment than Seri did in his first season with us.
