Cowley.....never heard of him.  Still a slim chance of automatic promotion, no need to change.  The defence leaked like a sieve at the beginning of the season. SP was able to stop the rot. OK, 1-0 wins are not great but the important number is 0.

They are not going in the right direction. Strangely, my opinion of Cowley is based on his style, or lack of it, at Lincoln. Played the journeyman forward Reid who was just in the team to beat up the opposition defences.

I think you're right and he's showing signs of adapting as he goes along which all good managers do.
His tightening up of defence has been impressive (even if we're not as attractive as we'd like) as has his impressive ability to close out games. 24 we've taken the lead in, 21 wins, 3 draws.
