His words have comeback to bite him on the behind 'big time', so plan A didn't work, moved on to Plan B 'the team were celebrating like they were already into the final'. Lets hope that 'bites too'.

Sour, chippy little man. Making stuff up in order to try and motivate his team.

Don't really see what's wrong with his interview. What was he supposed to say? They were so thoroughly outplayed in the second half so that he was likely embarrased, but that wouldn't have been a smart thing to say. Probably better to try to turn this into a underdog situation where everyone is against them, including the referee. When there is still one game to go there is no reason for him to be a "good" loser. He can save that for Thursday.

The point is he could have been far more positive without putting the blame on silly things. It is only half time. Fulham haven't been convincing at home. All to play for. Instead he whined which didn't make him look confident.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Something like 'we had good opportunities first half, we didn't take them, second half Fulham took control, they were miles better and we need to see what we can do in the next leg'.

Agreed.

This is obviously speculation but had a more intelligent, graceful manager like Hodgson or even Klopp given that interview, it would have gone very differently IMO.

Given Harris spent most of the week saying the pressure was on us and we "should be playing in the Premier League", it seems somewhat illogical for him now to be reluctant to admit we outplayed them. He could easily have admitted that, and indeed, acknowledging that we were the better side would have been consistent with the narrative he's given up to now.

He seemed determined to diminish the quality our goals, blaming his defenders for "not even putting a glove on" Onomah and the ref for giving the free-kick from which Kebano scored. Again, why not just admit they were two moments of brilliance? Those comments just made him look really bitter and pathetic.

He could easily have blamed his own players more generally for not taking their chances, perhaps not playing with confidence in the second half, and admitted that he probably got the tactics wrong. Nothing wrong with that if it's done in a gentle, constructive way. One way or another, his players will need to seriously up their game to take anything from this tie, everyone can see that.

He's got plenty of genuine positives to go on. He's right that there will be a lot of pressure on us now, that it's still only half-time in the tie, and that if they score the first goal on Thursday that will really shake things up. But he could have said all that without the bitter, negative stuff about us and the ref, and with a bit more humility about this game went.

He could have done that, but when do you see that from a manager after the first of two legs? Of course he will try whatever he believes is best for his team, regardless of whether he comes of as a bad loser or not. Judge him by how he handles actually losing on Thursday (if they do lose), because that's when there is time for dignity. In my opinion. My guess is that he will keep the same undignified stance even then though.

Maybe Hectors 'foul' was his first and Morrison's totting up ?
Don't really care, we take the rough with the smooth and keep moving on.

BTW Morrison's foul on Cairney was nailed on IMO. I was actually shouting at the TV that he should be booked (at least) because it looked like an elbow. Harris made some comment along the lines of, 'Morrison turned his back so didn't even know he was blocking Cairney.' Bo11ocks. An experienced defender doesn't just turn around and walk away from a dangerous one-two pass unfolding in front of him. He turned his back to put his elbow and shoulder in Cairney with maximum force. It wasn't just a foul, but a particularly nasty, cynical one at that.

Thursday, I expect Cardiff to revert to type and be more 'physical', keep those free - kicks coming.

We have a Specialist who has definitely been practicing whilst out of the first team.

Very concerned they will try to do a job on us Thursday by unsettling us with niggly fouls etc and try to wind our players up for a reaction.  We will need to keep our discipline as we don't want anyone potentially missing out on a trip to Wembley.
Yes and their prime target will be Mitro, we have to make sure he keeps his cool as we don't want him missing the final because of a red retaliation card.

Cardiff are well on their way to losing the tie but their manager is vigorously continuing  with the war of words, which, he started last week. I think Parker is on top in that battle as well.

Disappointed at his reaction and his analysis of the game, especially the remark re our players celebrating as if they had won the tie.
Disappointing little man and a very good replacement for Warnock.

Well no team that has won 2-0 away in the first leg has every lost, so no wonder why they are celebrating, thankfully we're not the type of team to let Harry Kane score his first goal in August or the team that has won in 15 to do so

Think the stat is never been done in championship playoff history, but a very recent reminder not to think we are already through. I watched that second leg and cheltenham just tried to sit back. Let's hope we don't.

This fella is a proper twit. On and on about "all the pressure is on them"..."we have everything to gain"..."acting like they won the semi-finals already"... what a moaning monk. Just admit you were, on the whole picture and overall over 90 minutes, out classed. First 20 minutes, they could have been 1-0 up, no doubt. We weathered their insistent energy, though, and came out for the second 45 firing on all cylinders. 68% possession over all, more shots, more on target, and two goals. Come off it Neil. If you win 3-0 somehow on Thursday, congrats, but give someone other than yourself credit for once.
Someone once asked me, "Why Fulham?".
My response, "Well, lad, you just haven't seen the light yet"

It's apparent Parker is far more professional. Harris played for Milwall, expect nothing but moaning and groaning and dirty tactics from him.

I can see he's point on that a little bit. I thought hector was going to see red in the first half, and there wasn't much difference between what happened. But hey they were crap and we were excellent

🙄
did you not see hector wipe out the Cardiff player in the first half then?
I saw the Cardiff player collide with Hector but to say it was a Red card is stupid🙄🙄
