I loved his attitude in the FFC video interview about a week ago.

He looks and plays like a captain, with a calm but insistent attitude, inspiring confidence.  It is beginning to look like we have made some outstanding signings this season.

Lyon is actually a really nice place. Great resteraunt scene, less crowded, ski slopes with 2 hours drive, cheap wine.....
Is the Pie &Eel shop still in Lillie road, get him hooked on that and he wouldn't want to leave.

We've got Putney Pies , Guildford and Brentwood ski slopes and London Pride ...
No contest

So very sorry, apologies I should mind my manners- as Tarquinius just reminded me - this is Fulham

It's more like Putney Pithiviers

I'm sure Lyon is a lovely holiday/retirement destination but if I was a good looking 24 year old millionaire I'd be after a bit more action personally

Watching the ups and downs since 1958, wouldn't have it any other way, what a roller coaster of a club.

Clearly there could, probably will, be some sort of deal with Canal but it may well be at a much, much lower price. French clubs already struggle to call meets financially with clubs from the big leagues and this will probably leave most of them in a position and of having to sell to survive. Very interesting.

Saw this thread and was just about to post this story. Lyon will likely be one of the clubs better able to weather the storm, so to speak, but, this could work in our favor anyway. Certainly, lighter wallets will make for easier sales.
