That'll give them some confidence, a point their fans would never have expected. Still don't look as good as we did against Liverpool but looks like they're coming away with the same amount of points as we did. Fat Sam, much as I hate his style of football and never would want him here for that reason alone (yes I'd sooner get relegated playing more exciting football) .... he somehow is capable of organising a side and scrapping to stay up.

Here's hoping this isn't one of those years!

Yes he does. Gets unfairly slagged off by many but Mark my words - he will keep West Brom up. I repeat what I've said on another thread....we look a better side now....BUT....we have to start winning in the next couple of weeks or we will soon be cut adrift.

Liverpool were very lethargic.  Looked like quite a few of them expected that the win was a formality. 
Sam Allardyce gets a lot of slagging for his defensive tactics, but he still coaches a fast attacking threat into his players. It's not all hoofing.

So that is now Liverpool, Man city and Arsenal doing us no favours against teams around us. :031:  Hurts even more that Fulham blew it against Brighton and Southampton.

well not really, if we can get some sort of result at spurs and beat Burnley then we are still in touch. Need a minimum of 3 points though

If ever anyone liked Clop , his post match comments put a nail in that coffin.
He is a sore loser and stuffed shirt.
After our match he didn't even mention Fulham.
Tonight it was al about a week off made them lethargic.
After our match it was all about the ridiculous number of games they had to play in a short period of time.
Both interviews bitterly complained about the referee and perceived injustice.

no, brom played well. Well organised and took their chance. Probably should have scored the one on one too.
