Okay so that was a horrible performance with lots of questionable decisions by Parker and yet again an obvious lack of goal threat until the last ten minutes. However, win the next game and this underwhelming and underserved point becomes a decent one. So if this was a 'must not lose' then the next one without a shadow of a doubt is a now a 'must win'.

How should we line up for this crucial match? Drop the three at the back? I would have done that today against Brighton but with Robinson back I'd stick with it as he adds another dimension to our attack in that left wing back role.
One thing is clear though: Mitro has to start.

I cannot understand what Kebano has done to fail to get a start. He's shown he knows where the goal is and we desperately need that quality. I'd either start him instead of BDR or even instead of Cav. It won't happen though.

It easily morphs into our 3-4-3 or whatever, but I'd go with more attacking intent with Bobby higher up the pitch instead of a wingback. If we can't handle WBA's "talent" with four in the back, forget about it.

I would argue that the Brighton game was more of a "must win" as we won't get another chance to eat in to the margin between us (without banking on them to lose)
We shouldn't invite pressure on us from WBA (of all teams!).  We need to take it to them and play a 4-2-3-1

Parker needs to prove, we are progressing against the lower teams in the division.

The problem is this formation worked so well against Leicester that Parker has played it in every game since.

You can't afford to be so rigid in your tactical thought and preparation, there has to be some adjustments made depending on the opposition.

This is why we look "better" against the better sides, because they commit numbers forward and we can create favourable situations on the counter.   Against WBA we need to be the ones taking the initiative not soaking up pressure.  We're playing an Allardyce-coached team FFS

Denver's team is spot on. Not one of us would select Cav....he is awful. Why can't Parker see it, does he not study the match stats either ?

And with Kebano on the bench who not give him a go ? Honestly he has had zero Prem time when Cav has failed game after game after game we really should be much further down the path than we are, the defence is great, but then every member of the current team is a defender at the moment.Set BDR free as well !
