Impressive when he came on.  Sparked a few others into life too.  Seems have a real impact when he comes off the bench.  Shame it wasn't sooner.

Think he's the sort of player that thrives with 30 mins off the bench in the PL. Deffo one to bring on against tired legs because he's strong and fairly quick for a winger too and allows us to be much more direct as he makes runs in behind, something we lack most of the time.

Then I remember that he hasn't been benched since the loss to Leicester.

Tend to agree but I didn't think Zambo had a very good game.

Agreed Twig - but he was at least a body that Palace had to deal with . The previous two substitutions made sense - the third was just odd

What cav does is get around the outside of the opposition. It makes a difference as a defender having to defend facing your goal rather than away from it. Whenever lookman or Robinsons do it, we create. BDR rarely does it and had a bit of an off day going forward.

Just couldn't get anything going after that sub. Should have taken off Maja, Lookman or RLC if he wanted to put Mitro on, needed the double pivot to make it through the first bit of press.

Cav. had a good 30 minutes today but afraid his shooting still left something to be desired.

He made an impact, available for the ball, working hard to win it back and defending from the front, and  running  down the right  with it, past defenders and to the edge of the box, but it just a shame his shots were so woeful, as usual.
He's a pro player, so obviously knows how to take a shot.
I know it's easy for me to say, and he is in the heat of  battle, but if he could shoot on target, he  would have   several goals to his name - much needed goals for us.

But agree he did well when he cane on, and we looked more threatening and direct.
He just needs more composure when he shoots, and also to sometimes knock it across the goal for others to run onto.

But you have to admire his attitude and work ethic, as well as his skill.
He doesn't hide either.

We  know he can  take a successful shot - he was known for it when he came to us, and has  scored with long range efforts.

Absolutely but to be fair frank was way off the pace yesterday but still what you suggested would have given us the best cjhance of winning. RLC went totally missiing.
