How does having such a bad Dof F square with how badly Scott managed the team in the Championship, playing dire, dull awful football with a really good squad ?

Also how some he allowed some useful players to leave the club, failed to even coach the team to take penalties, free kicks and corners properly and selected an unbalanced and defensive team week after week after week ?

That was all him. Coach he isn't and tactical master he aint. If he spent as long watching how his team played on recordings of previous games as he obviously does selecting his wardrobe then we might have had a chance.

Nobody forced Scott to manage the club. If he didn't like how it was being run from above walk away. Sorry but some of you like a vendetta. As far as I'm concerned relegation is down to Scott. He was inexperienced and needed others around him but there is not a perfect situation at any club. We now need to take it in the chin and move on. Scott now has a bit more experience.

He certainly is telling us how it is..except he can't say it so he/she isnt.

Parker was excellent under the circumstances and always presents himself as a top class manager with a future. We will never really know how good or poor he is until he is given the right tools to do the job.

From the end of the window (5 games in?) broadly a good enough team to stay up - GK, defence and largely midfield but lack of incisive strikers and not enough attacking invention coming from midfield. Considering they had no time to bed in, it's remarkable how well the new players did gel for that decent run. Then no proper attacking reinforcement in January.

Excuses: delayed play-off final, FFP, last-minute deals (Anderson, for example).

Solution? Spunk tons of money at it earlier on but, even despite that, there's no doubting the difficulty of bringing PL quality players into a "Championship" team. It seems to be a bit different from the early Mo days when we were on a roll: players and agents have sussed us now.

You can believe or disbelive that is up to you. However, if you are given information in confidence then you should not betray the source and if you do they will certainly not tell you anything again.

And SP will have plenty of opportunity elsewhere. Our blunders have turned us into the feeder club for Spurs (you know, the greatest club in the galaxy, according to their Napoleon complex supporters), and SP would shine there.

What I do not understand is that Mr Kahn Snr has put millions of pounds/dollars into the club, the new stand and the academy plus the players and we very grateful he has; surely he can see that Mr Kahn Jnr is peeing his hard earned money down the drain.  He may know a great deal about wrestling and NFL, bit knows diddley squat about soccer (sorry football).  Something has to give soon before the club becomes a millstone round his neck.

I think that if we do not get a change of DoF and Tk keeps out of (alleged) interference with team affairs. Parker will walk away

You can believe or disbelive that is up to you. However, if you are given information in confidence then you should not betray the source and if you do they will certainly not tell you anything again.

This is bullpoo, if you have been told something in confidence why are you making suggestions and implications, surely you should be keeping quiet or are you just trying to wind everyone up.  If there is really something Khan has done other than the obvious, multiple jobs, living 3,000 miles away etc which I am very critical of then tell us.  Tell us something or keep it to your self.

My big take away from his interview afterwards,  which I think Parker handled very well was not that it was all TONY Khans fault, but that the team lacked quality in certain areas.  He clearly pointed to lack of converting our chances and everyone knows we have lacked quality up front and in terms of creativity.  I have been led to believe, true or not, that Parker was happy with his striking options and requested significant strengthening at the back.  That was achieved via loan and perm signings to the point where I would say this season we had a more than adequate defence.   To gain that quality up front would have meant not 7 loans but 11 and that would have been even more laughable. Signing permanent premier ready strikers is just not what promoted teams can afford.  So you get Norwich/WBA/Watford/Fulham, good or very good championship teams yoyoing between the divisions.  What I think Parker is saying is we have to find a way of breaking that sequence.  He is not saying how but clearly thinks we need more quality everywhere so the million dollar question is how to do this without knackering the club within FFP.   Less loans, better quality signings, not over spending, and possibly like many of us a high quality 100%, resident DOF, but that bit was not clear and frankly he would never say so publicly anyway.

The other thing we may need by the way is a better coach but that on another thread I think 😳

A few years ago, just before the last game of the season v Bolton at home where we won 1-0 I briefly met Shahid Khan.  I was being treated to the day in the Chairmans lounge for my 60th birthday and an great day it was.  Mr Khan promised me that the new stand would be built.  I also met Sarah Brooks who confirmed how good a chairman Shahid was.  I came on here and told you.  I then got blasted for being a 'Khan man' and talking rubbish and that it would never happen.  Fast wind a few years and that great big shiny thing going up by the river tells you that he and she were telling the truth.  Coming on here and saying I know something but I am not going to tell you what, is just very very annoying to put it mildly, there are enough wind up merchants that say all sorts of things, this could include all these same insiders, if they do exist, rumour spreaders from within the club who have maybe been doing a crap job and are fed up with their employees telling you a load of rubbish.  Or it could be true, but without evidence, how can we take the bloke who has been told by the bloke who heard another person saying something as anything other than just tittle tattle.

My point is that I could have come on here and said I met Shahid Khan and he told me something very important but I can't tell you because he told me in confidence.  What would have happened then ?   Well it would have certainly raised more questions and allowed rumours to go all over the place.  Coming on here and saying some source who could be anyone for all I know told you something but not saying what it is helps nobody and is frankly highly unhelpful.  We all want the best for Fulham and some of us spend a lot of time thinking and worrying about that, this sort of comment helps nobody, not the club, not the fans, nobody.   Does that make sense ?   Sorry about the repetitions..
