Louie Sibley would be a good addition along with Tom Lawrence!

Ebosele as a long term RB option as well, he looks like Freddo MK2 to me

+1

Would nicking possibly their three best players for next to nothing finally cancel the hurt from 1983?

Just a week of the wretched window left and success to us means offloading a couple of our high wage earners not now being considered first team starters and retaining all of our other players. No need to make risky last minute signings as we have the players right now capable of getting the promotion points needed from the next 20 matches.
New signings a best left until earl in the summer window.

Serie B side Como have offered to take Knockaert on loan

Great little ground on the shores of Lake Como but I'd be surprised if they had the money
Couldn't agree more.......I live in Como.......two teams with their grounds in beautiful settings, Fulham & Como...

Ebosele would be a good signing and send him back on loan to derby for the rest of the season

Re. Tom Lawrence, I'd definitely take him for the Championship but for the Premier League I'm not convinced he'd really be able to make the step up, especially since he's 28 and hasn't got much room for potential, whereas Harry Wilson I can see being able to push on. I'm not overly fussed about us signing anyone this window as long as Fabio signs, I think we need to be drawing up a list of targets for the summer for if and when we go up, so we aren't slow off the mark as we often are. Priority then will have to be the defence, we'll need at least two defenders who are Premier League quality, and perhaps one more with room for growth, then I'd start looking at the midfield with a view to strengthening in the middle. What I don't want us to do is do what we did in the last two prem seasons and prioritise a goalkeeper, as I believe Marek is more than good enough for the Prem, and I don't like our habit of loaning in various keepers and then rotating around until we find one that works. Our Prem team next season (should we be there) should be evolutionary not revolutionary, and to that extent I wouldn't replace current first-team players just for the sake of it.

Happily see no additions if we can manage to get Carvalho to sign a new deal as our only business

It doesn't look like Fabri's contract will be renewed, because he is not believed to be good enough for the premier league. That means a new premier league goalkeeper will need to be signed (probably on loan) for next season. It is unlikely we will be able to sign a premier league goalkeeper, unless he thinks he will be our #1.

In conclusion, if Fabri isn't next season's #3 goalkeeper; then next season Gazza will be #3 and Rodak will be #2.

Rodak will almost certainly leave if we bring in a new goalkeeper in the summer if we get promoted. And if I'm honest, we will need a new number 1 goalkeeper if we go up.

I'm happy with Rodak next season if we go up... if Rodak wins his second promotion to the premier league with us and once again is not given a chance then quite frankly every youth prospect we have shouldn't stick around and we would fully deserve it.

Yes! If he gets shafted twice he should leave for his own careers sake

Agree, Marek has proven to be a good keeper so don't know why we seem so averse to giving him a chance in the Prem. He will 100% leave if otherwise.

Can we give Como a BOGO and include Cav?

Or just maybe see how a good coach, who will use him in the best position can effect his performances.

Rodak is decent but there are better out there. Assuming we get promoted we will 100% need an upgrade, just like last time. I hope the recruitment team are still in regular contact with Areola.

JackHamlet90

We need to stop replacing people who have earned the right to have a crack at Prem.
Brentford have kept most of last years team adding 3/4 it's worked the same.
Rodak deserves a chance in Prem as does Kebano.
We clearly need replacement at that level for Ream who is nearly 35 but I hope this time we have learned our lessons & get 3-4 signings of Harry Wilson level then I believe we have a chance

I believe this is the attitude which screws up harmony in squads. Brentford are keeping their heads above water by largely belueving I the squad that got them promoted.

I like Rodak but he is no Ariola. hew has conceded cheap goals of late which he should have been getter closer to: Sheffield utd , Bristol city and Birmingham games all raise abit of a question mark for me if he is top class.
