Sick of Livarpool

Can't disagree with that...I assume it's going to be a loan back until end of season otherwise it would make Marco look a little stupid.

For me the whole thing is corrupt now. I know even when I was a kid United could buy who they wanted but at every level - from knicking youngsters that poorer clubs have developed or allowing 'commercial income to be added to other revenues for FFP is about the rich staying rich. Sooner they create this SuperLeague the better - put it all in a rocket & fire it to Mars

Somerset Fulham

But we do it to clubs smaller than us. I don't understand why people seemingly wilfully ignore this.

Screw Liverpool . He could be one for the future for us.

If Fab goes then there better be a loan back involved if not then the money must be used to bring in a replacement and a decent right back,
Big 30 hours or so ahead for Fulham Football Club,  we must not be weakened at a time when clubs like Bournemouth are looking to strengthen.

Scum club Liverpool. First with their snouts in the trough when money is mentioned. If a fiver was found on the Isle of Mull they'd claim it.  Since Hicks and Gillette took over and now Fenway they have had no class at all. Mr. Khan Snr may not be the most astute Club owner (son DoF) but he has always shown class. If he continues to update the Stadium it will be something to be even more proud of than we already are. We are very lucky.

KJS

If Livershite are in talks without FFC permission then they are in breach of the rules as he can only speak to overseas clubs at this time

We don't tap journos up to write endless stories about why players should join us and try and unsettle them via the media. Nobody here is ignoring the fact we've taken players from smaller clubs but we don't get the s*n and other journos to do our job for us and try to force a transfer through

It's not right. Bit it doesn't make Liverpool doing it right either!!

I'm certainly not ignoring this - it's the whole system, of which we are a part- that is corrupt. I'm sure early fans of Stansfield & Elliot would point the finger at us. And Chelsea's 'puppy farm' is another example....

Somerset Fulham

I've said it before, it's the rules that need changing. Nobody is doing anything wrong here, as frustrating as it is.

It's being widely reported that Liverpool are in advanced talks with the club now, so it's nothing to do with anybody being tapped up, it's clubs working within the rules, no matter how bitter a pill it is to swallow.

Wouldn't surprise me if a deals completed this window if a loan back for 18months was included, would suit all parties involved

This is the very best we can hope for. We get him until the end of the season and a whole year in the prem. He gets guaranteed first team football and Liverpool can see what he's like in a premier league team. If we manage to stay up then we get the premier league money to get a replacement. The lad never wanted to stay which is a real shame but we need to be clever in what we do now. Leaves a big hole if we can't have him next season.
Stand up if you still believe!

The worse part of this is that we won't actually see a penny, the money will be taken off the £12 million we owe them for Wilson.

Fab has asked to sign permanently this window. Liverpool have offered him around 100k a week, so will get that immediately if he joins this window. Fulham are trying to get him back on loan, but I don't know yet, Fulham are working on alternatives as we speak too. The money we pay whether we see it or not due to the Wilson deal will mean that we can bring more in as it will ease FFP concerns. Will update if I get it

Mince n Tatties

Didn't  our manager state on Friday he wasn't  going anywhere?

As always. Thanks for the info WSW. 100K per week is madness and it stinks of being tapped up to me.

100 Grand? F*** me he's good but he's not THAT good

WestSussexWhite

Can you blame him for going for that? Even if he gets a bad injury he's set for life on that money. H thing that's pissed me off is he has asked to go the day before deadline day
