Apparently Roy is being seriously considered to be the new Watford manager and may be announced tomorrow (Tuesday).

If true a sensible move by Watford in my opinion

Mr K.Dilkington

That would actually be great for them!
Hopefully relegate Everton Roy would...great banter

Steeeeeeeeeed

He will be joining them in roughly the same position as when he joined Fulham...

Good Luck Roy, if you do take the job.

Christ. Both men should retire now. He gave us an incredible European experience but he's too old now.

Hopefully keep Watford up and relegate Brentford.
Pretty sure Brentford will stay up

Yes no chance they will go down.
We will be giving them a 7-0 in the premier  next season.

Brentford I think are in free fall - check out their last 7-8 results. It's a tough tough league.

If he could keep them up (and there is a fair chance he could) at the expense of Newcastle, Leeds or Everton then that would make our job a little less daunting should we get promoted.

Holders

If he just took the job to keep them up and then retired that would be a great way to end his career.

I'm surprised that Roy wants the stress of the job to be honest.  I can understand him taking a director of football job somewhere, but surely he is at the age where he would want to take it easy!

On the subject of Brentford, it is incredibly unlikely that they will go down this season. To date, they have won only one game less than the bottom three put together! I just cannot see enough teams below them finding enough form to get to even 30 points and Brentford will surpass that easily..

When you look at Watford they deserve to go down. They Will be paying at least three managers after releasing Ranieri. That money would have been better spent on players. teams like that do not deserve to stay up and will be in so much debt if relegated they could do a Sunderland

It looks like  Roy and Ray Lew together again at Watford, really I cant think of a better solution to their problem.

Good luck to them both.
