He loves the game, he is intelligent and can communicate with his international counterparts.  A lot of what he stands for is disappearing- which is not for the better . He may, like so many of us , be "old" but his heart and passion for the game is that of a teenager  - his wisdom though that of Methuselah.

Well said. Watford's survival is dependent on how receptive the players are to listen and adopt his instructions. If they do, then they have a good chance.

They had no hope of survival previously, however with Sir Roy at the helm there's no doubt they've maximised their chances. However, they'll have to finish above one of Newcastle, Leeds, Everton or Brentford in all probability - which I can't see happening. That said it would be amusing if Sir Roy's efforts relegated Brentford; Bees down Fulham up.......
