Blow your shed Mince, I am more worried about my Summer house, winds forecast of over 80 mph down here in Cornwall.

Just back from a nice walk along the seafront at Teignmouth, very mild not much wind and almost calm sea.
Was expecting things to be much different.

In South West report i have for work is now stating 90+ on Friday from 06:00 - 15:00 then dies down again.

With the winds that are forecast for Friday I would think aircraft will be grounded, usual limit for take off is something like 60/70 knots.

It does look like it's going to be very powerful all day Friday now, could be like 1987 all over again.

Dreading the next 24 hours, already last night had some of my garden equipment damaged including a £1,000 heavy wooden swinging seat (almost too heavy for 2 people to lift) which somehow became airborne and crashed into part of our patio balustrade, the winds then were apparently only 50 mph! Just hope my summerhouse/man cave survives the next storm. Stay safe everybody!!
