Reed is not an attacking CM I don't get why Silva persists with this. Mitro has been poor last 2 games, Chalobah was all over the place, Carvalho has been a passenger recently, Robinson was actually woeful and all our subs were way too late. So much to be annoyed about tonight that was dreadful. That team needed some rotation, Silva takes a lot of blame for that.

The tv remote may have been thrown after their goal. Time to sign off, night all.
Stand up if you still believe!

Poor performance.
Think a lot stems down to being way out in front at the top.
Citeh have been pegged right back, and Forest Green  Rovers who were 15 points clear in league 2,have had that gap halved.

HV71

Out muscled outfought  out thought - outrageous for a team so far ahead in the league

Three away games in a week wasn't ideal and very little squad rotation didn't help. Some players looked knackered.  We missed Kebano. So much for squad depth. There were signs on Saturday and so I wasn't surprised the way the game panned out. Credit to West Brom who worked hard and raised their game to a level they have rarely shown lately.

Classic94

Poor against Barnsley and even worse tonight - looked completely jaded from the outset.

The break undoubtedly comes at a good time. Regroup and come back better.

After a poor start from Bruce, that's 2 wins and a draw from last 3....He might just sneak them into playoffs.

First away game we've lost since October and Bournemouth dropped two points. Bad day at the office. Get over it and let's move on to the next game. We will tank at least one more team this season. COYW'S

With Kebano out,I'd bring Tete in at full back and play Neco further up.

HV71

Not good enough doesn't even get close to covering it! Radical surgery required - or straight back down . Not strong enough either mentally or physically.

SP

I've concluded we threw tonight's match as the players want to secure promotion at QPR...............

(Best I could come up with)

This is a good call, would like to see it.

That was really, really bad. Bookies will probably start offering better prices on us getting promoted after the last 2 matches.  Hopefully just a wobble and not a capitulation.

Apart from an awful performance from all the starting eleven except Rodak and Ream, I think Silva showed worrying weakness and lack of judgement.  It was already clear that BDR is not a wide man but he set us up that way yet again. It very rapidly became clear Reed and Chalobah does not work but he persisted.  Sorry Marco that was dreadful from you.

Ruislip White

A complacent performance.  Lack of desire and work rate.  Before kick off I expected a hard fought draw and for Cherries to win, and therefore gain 2 points in us.  Table wise, an ok night.  Attitude wise - a worry.

Reed/Chalobah is just bad. Chalobah had a horrid game on-ball and Reed shouldn't be playing as an 8. I don't understand why we persist that way.

Overall, we were incredibly sloppy and slow to 50-50 balls. Just a really bad performance and I think Marco has to look at himself tonight. Players get the blame, but the lack of rotation and questionable midfield setup made us very much second-best. I didn't even think WBA was very good. They just tried much harder than we did.

Also, if you want to play BDR, why not swap him and Fabio for a bit? Bobby seems to play better centrally and Fab/Robinson may work better. In general, it looks like our last two opponents overplayed to our right to limit Wilson/Neco because they didn't think Robinson/BDR could hurt them. And they were correct.

I also noticed the defensive shift from the opposition. Against Barnsley I think it was more obvious, but they were definitely inviting AR to create and he just can't do it.

The other thing is that the last 2 matches were against 3 man back lines. Marco needs a major tactical rethink against these formations. His 4-1-4-1 doesn't work. Seems the front 7 has been able to cut off the entire middle of the pitch against us.

Worse aspect of this awful performance wqas Silva's body language and completely flat manner.

What was the problem ? We were woeful, he made some terrible subs and we missed Seri.Hard to name one player apart from Ream who was up for it. Better to have Tete than Neco and Williams, Bobby, Fab, Robinson,Harrison Reed, Wilson, Tosin, Cav (of course),Cairney and Chalobah all made far too many individual mistakes, looked disjointed and badly motivated.

Rare two bad performances in a  row, tired looking and ill prepared. This is not the way to finish the season.

Cobh Fulham Fan

I sincerely hope we can explain away all of that as tiredness by the players. Shoolyard passing right back to the feet of our opponents. Mitro thinking he was playing at Twickenham slotting the ball over the bar.  How many games has it been now since he scored?   Thank god the wounded and black eyed Ream was on the pitch because if it wasnt for him and Rodak, we should have been 4 or 5 down.

Ok lets have a rest and see if they have some fight left in them after that!

All said and done we are a fair few points ahead and as little as ten points may get us promoted in the remaining games.
