Excellent interview with Mr Fulham 👌

I said he would stay and got consistently insulted for saying it on here

Big Up Tim Ream

Just watched it - loved it.

I imagine he'll do everything he can to maintain a level of fitness so that he'll be ready to contribute next season.

Just because you were right that he is staying, doesn't make it a good thing

Explain how it isnt a good thing that Ream is staying?

Next season we will need a bench of nine players, keeping Ream and Kebano is a good option as both have experience in the system we play and both have good personalities in the club. To replace both of these players for next season would be costly even for someone to be a bench warmer. 092.gif

What a player! What a man!

Great news - well done Tim.

Never been a fan of his but my wife liked him. She used to give me a kick if I moaned about him.

He did get better as the season went on. Good luck Tim for next season in the Premier League.

Intelligent, articulate Fulham man & a pleasure to listen to that interview.
Sounds like a good guy to have around the club.

Probably our most consistent player in the past 6 or so years

Quite incredible

Personally I'm pleased he's staying. I absolute do not see him in the starting eleven but I agree that he can be valuable cover. And his experience and professionalism can set a great example to our younger players and new signings.

Explain how it isnt a good thing that Ream is staying?
Because he is a liability in the prem and him being contracted to the club as a player puts him at risk of having to play. I don't think it's complicated or difficult to see this

Tim is a class individual and Marco trusts him. Must have made giving him the extension an easy decision.

I agree with this, sorry but if Ream plays for us in the prem, fully expect him to be found out once again like the past two times he played for us. Keep him as 4th choice possibly but can't be anywhere near starting line up.

Just because a player has been at the club for 6 years, doesn't mean the club should keep them longer. We have to be pragmatic about it and get to a point where their services are no longer required, even if they are/have been a fan favourite. Harsh but that is the present football world.

"A liability"?  That's not really an explanation is it, just an opinion? Got to say I don't agree, as I've said I certainly wouldn't see I'm as a starter but as an option to come off the bench I think it makes a lot of sense. And don't forget he will be one of two back up CBs. Personally I hope unload Hector, Mawson and Kongolo, we need to sign a starter and a second back up.
