Fulham is Fantastic! Forest 2 v 3 Fulham Post Match Thread!

First half saw Forest sitting deep with five in the back and looking for the quick breakaway.  In the end though it wasn't the breakaway that allowed Forest to score it was the unmarked man at the back post.

Fulham had some good chances though in that first half, but nothing sadly came of it.

Second half Fulham came out and gave a few nervy moments.  Luckily the lads woke up and responded in the 54th minute with Tosin breaking free from a corner set piece with a brilliant header to level the game out.

Fulham kept up the pressure and long before Palhanha scored with a bullet of a strike in the 57th minute to make it two and then followed up by Reed scoring in the 60th minute in what I believe to be his first goal For Fulham.  Felt fantastic for him to score and I for one thought it was well deserved considering all the hard work he puts in on the pitch.

However, Forest was not done yet and in the 77th minute pulled one back making it 2-3 Fulham.  Luckily with a bit shithousery from Ream in the 80th with what could have been a yellow for him stepping across the Forest player the way he did.  But Ream wasn't done, for being slotted into that leftback position and not being known for speed, Ream did really well.  He even helped to get the ball down into a corner in the dying minutes of the game allowing Fulham to get a corner and see the game out.

For most of the match we were clearly the better team but in the end it was again our battling qualities that got us the three points.

The second goal was a gift, the first was poor marking. Totally avoidable. I thought our defense still looked good!
