some cleaver technical types don't know why it didn't work, it should have but didn't!?

before I try again I want to get to the bottom of the issue

Yes it is amazing how you can suddenly miss something you may easily take for granted when it is not there as usual.
I happened to have the day off yesterday and because i could not log in, my wife made me do the ironing.

I work in IT, I use the same acronym all the time
