I'm not sure it was venomous but it was with two feet in the air and that means it was out of control. Can't argue with the red but VAR missing the Newcastle elbow is unforgiveable. How will they justify that? Maybe we'll get another apology 🤔😥🤐

2 feet in the air suggests off your feet and lunging in to the challenge then making contact with the feet - he jumped turned his back and barged with his body having pulled out of the challenge. Then the highlights on the broadcast review kept playing it in 2x speed??? What was all that about?

Probably a red too, but not getting a decision doesn't give you carte blanche to go and attack a member of the opposition like that. It's a matter of maturity and discipline.
