Probably a red too, but not getting a decision doesn't give you carte blanche to go and attack a member of the opposition like that. It's a matter of maturity and discipline.

I agree Raul shouldn't have done that. The referee needs to have the same criteria for both sides though. If that wasn't even a yellow, what Raul did can't be a red.

I'm not sure it was venomous but it was with two feet in the air and that means it was out of control. Can't argue with the red but VAR missing the Newcastle elbow is unforgiveable. How will they justify that? Maybe we'll get another apology 🤔😥🤐

Went back and watched the Lascelles "elbow" again.

Tried to watch it with both eyes open.

Never a red IMO.  Looking like he was trying to jostle but Raul was a bit closer to the ground.
