Tete saves us over and over again. He is having a great game. Newcastle came with a plan and have played it to perfection. They've never looked hurried but their breaks have been fast. We, on the other hand look as if we are a man short

Statements like this astounds me. We have played well all night.
Hmm. It's now 0-2. How many do they have to score before you stop saying that?

You sound like a moron.

Likewise I'm sure.

I acknowledge that we have played some decent build up stuff. However, we conceded a poor second goal and have been toothless up front. End result 0-2 thus far. I think it's perfectly reasonable to say this is turning into a poor performance and a bit "rose tinted specs" to argue that we have played well all night. On that basis no, you do not sound like a moron.

Wishful thinking. Our track record of coming from behind is abysmal.

Tete just looks head and shoulders above the rest tonight.

It was said at 1 0 when we were pressing strong for an equaliser.

We don't often play a team as poor as this Newcastle one.

But I admit, it's not looking likely now.

Jimenez should have done better with those two headers. Tete put in two excellent crosses.

There's a fundamental flaw in our attacking play, we show glimpses of attacking with pace but any opposition that fights and chases for every ball like many PL teams do and we back off.

Add in the fact we seem to have no players who actually think they are going to score and are surprised when it happens and we are stuffed.

Its like looking at a painting by numbers picture, it looks neat and tidy but has no real quality!

RaySmith

Hopeless, create openings but can't shoot on target, no real recognised striker

horse1031

We honestly have bottom 3 strikers in the league right?

Nice analogy.

Just goes to show how perceptive a moron can be doesn't it?

He's been poor today so far though. When he's having a good game he's really good, but he blows hot and cold. Lot of poor games this season as well.

He's not been on long, but you're right - his consistency is not great.
