No one wants a flare in their face so of course they should be banned strictly speaking but with stadiums these days being made from fire retardant materials and having well-rehearsed procedures for evacuation onto the pitch etc, surely the risk of serious harm is pretty low. They do enhance the atmosphere. Not saying they should be allowed but IMO ejection and a warning for next time would be a fair punishment.

Please if you ever feel desperate don't take Paracetamol to end life.It is a very painful way to die starting with stomach bleeding.

Can't believe you seem not to realise how dangerous these flares can be. Fulham have made a stance but I think whoever brings flares etc into grounds should be banned for life.

Flares and smoke bombs are great. Big drums too. Lose the clappers and get a proper ultras scene going, I'll put up with a bit of smoke inhalation/second-degree burns

Google "child injured by flare at football match" and you might change your mind. Fan in Scotland recently scarred for life. Swansea fan left with first degree burns. And so on. It might look like fun but each time one of these devices gets let off it opens up the potential for severe injury.
