Quote from: Drewry66 on July 03, 2024, 10:44:46 PMJust read that JP is not having his medical until after the euros. What is that all about? He's in frigging Germany anyway. If they get to the final that is nearly two weeks before it is done. Surely until it is done we can't sign a replacement as what if he gets a huge injury and Bayern pull out? Gutted he is going but if he is frigging annoying they are not 100% finalising it so we can move on. Watch the likes of Andre sign for Spurs whilst we wait.
I would guess his country want him training with them, quite standard during a tournament. I believe the England team do not allow players to take medicals (maybe even talk) to clubs while at a tournament due to past distractions
There should be the odd doctor in Germany capable of carrying out the mediical.
Dr Joseph Mengele.

I cannot believe I'm reading this. Sorry but I've had to block your posts.

The poster might want to read up and look at images what M did to children because they think it's funny. To the person said don't be offended, you too might need to read up on him. An no this is not wokesness gone mad, it is not appropriate and extremely offensive to any Jewish fans or people that lost family in concentration camps. I'm surprised it is still up.

If you can't be bothered looking up Mengle I've pasted a snap shot of what he did

Other experiments he performed included injecting chemicals into inmates' eyes to change their eye color,[54] removing the eyes of dead inmates and occasionally "pinning them on walls like butterflies",[55] removing the teeth and blood of dwarfs and inmates with physical abnormalities, and forcing inmates to undergo unnecessary drug and X-ray treatments.[4] Pregnant women were also victims of these experiments.[56] Survivors were typically sent to the gas chambers within weeks. Their skeletons were sent to Berlin for further analysis.[57] Mengele removed the hearts and stomachs of victims without anesthesia[58] and forced one inmate who survived the removal of a kidney to work without painkillers afterwards.[59]

Why? Because Andre is useless, he was pathetic against City.

So you've seen him play one game of football and your armchair opinion is that he's crap? They've beaten us 14 times in a row and I would suggest that you could make a very good XI of all the players who featured in those 14 losses, they really aren't a yardstick for judging a players ability because they're an obscenely good football team.

Think the City game is a tad unfair to use against him. He played a fair chunk of that game at centre half because of mainly injuries and I think suspension? He is a midfielder who sits in front of the back line. Technically very good keeps it simple has a good physicality about him. Pace might be his only weakness. I would say watch the Copa libertadores when they won is a better Barometer to use.

Interesting...

Fulham are closely following Beşiktaş's young players Semih Kılıçsoy and Mustafa Erhan Hekimoğlu.

Fulham offers Semih Kılıçsoy, interest in Hekimoğlu!

Semih Kılıçsoy and Mustafa Erhan Hekimoğlu are on the radar of Fulham , one of the long-established teams in the Premier League .

Recently, Fulham's chief scout Brian Talbot came to Istanbul and met with Samet Aybaba about Semih Kılıçsoy. In the conversation, Brian Talbot announced that a budget of 15 million Euros had been allocated for Semih Kılıçsoy, and Samet Aybaba's response was that Semih Kılıçsoy's transfer expectations were higher than the stated figure.

In addition to the speech, scout Brian Talbot said that they were also interested in Beşiktaş's 17-year-old young player Mustafa Erhan Hekimoğlu and were following him.

That's interesting, where did you find the follow up article out of interest? Kılıçsoy is a left winger and Hekimoğlu is a striker, the former 18 and latter 17. Not sure if they're meant to be long term prospects or for the academy

Kılıçsoy is a very good prospect. He can be a striker or a left winger and he plays very similarly to Sergio Aguero. Not saying he will ever be that level but he's the same type of forward.

Don't know anything about the other guy.

I just googled the name + "fulham" and found that on a Turkish site

The 18 yo is already in their first team and has two caps for Turkey. Would be a fantastic acquisition to fight with Muniz for the starting striker role. This is exactly the type of signing I'd like to see us make.
Fulham will struggle to get Semih ,he's wanted by some of Europes top clubs & can play anywhere across the front line.
€15m is nothing! They want at least double.

I'm not sure it's about whether you or others are offended, rather it's about the utter tastelessness of invoking the name of a mass murderer and torturer. Some will be offended for sure, others won't but I would suggest it's hard not to be shocked by such a crass "joke".

Anyway, back to transfers. Has anyone got anything, because I haven't heard much about any incomings?
