If Marco says we want a CB, DM and forward, we might as well be ballsy and tell Juve we'll pay £35m for Chiesa, that'd be a statement signing alongside the circa £20-£25m we're allocating for a CB and DM

We are not mentioned but Anderson to us may be intertwined with these rumours on BBC,

Crystal Palace are set to reject a fourth bid worth around £65m plus add-ons from Newcastle for 24-year England centre-back Marc Guehi. (Sky Sports),

Newcastle are not ready to walk away from a deal for Guehi just yet but the club are considering their options. (The I),

An alternative target could be Chelsea's 25-year-old English defender Trevoh Chalobah who is admired by Newcastle boss Eddie Howe. (Talksport),

Palace have agreed personal terms with French centre-back Maxence Lacroix, 24, and are pushing for a deal with his club Wolfsburg. (Sky Germany - in German)

Please lads, its AnderSEN. Not Anderson. Every time someone writes Anderson I always think its some Brazilian we're suddenly after.

Great position for CP to be in. They either cash in greatly on Guehi, or keep him and get a nice deal for Andersen and replaced the dane with a younger CB.

Only thing in worried about is:
1. It makes more sense for CP to sell Guehi than Andersen. Guehi will likely want to take the next step and eager to go, whereas I cant see Andersen pushing to take a side step career wise to come to Fulham.
Hopefully CP will try to wait out another year on Guehi, and hope that City or United or Chelsea or whoever comes along in a bidding war next summer (bit of a gamble tho)

2. Im hoping that we arent doing a Liverpool here and Andersens camp pulling a Zubimendi, maybe just to get a new contract at Palace.
Objectivley, we and CP are pretty much on the same level and besides the increase in wages, I dont really see why Andersen should leave CP for us. Both teams are ambitious, in short term looking for mid table glory, and with an exciting managers and some really good players.

I know most will say no to it but I think we need someone on left midfield to replace Willian
What about Manor Solomon back on loan as one of our loan spots used. Probably unlikely but Tottenham have signed a few wingers he will surely be moved on.

Solomon loan
Andre 25+5
Andersen 25+5
Think that would end a good window for us

Seeing the pace of last night's game, I don't think he's the answer sadly.

Not that any of us were considering this more recently as he seems to be fighting Castagne to start

Long Live King Tete

He was worth every penny we pay him last night too, certainly looked to be back to his best.

Am watching Portsmouth v Luton and I know they have been mentioned on this thread by one or two as potential targets but have we been linked to Mengi or Adebayo? They both look like they could be decent players for us, maybe i am just blinkered by not having watched any football for a while

I have been saying that about Adebayo for a couple of seasons now.  He looks like a good centre forward to me.

And me.A focal point and big weapon for Luton last season.

Yikes

Danilo just broke his leg for forest
Rumours they were planning to sell him for 40m to utd. Wonder if that throws another major psr issue up for them 🤔

Would be a good option, seems to have overcome his injury problems and is very versatile.

Feel like this is noise to push Carlos/Andersen but this would be a great move if we can pull it off.

Question for those who think we should sign a striker:
why would we spend money on a new striker when we already have Raul and Muniz? Yes, I know. Raul is underwhelming, especially considering his 100 k wage. But he would have to be sold before we should add anyone else, and that is simply not happening.

Immediate positions to be addressed are: DM and CB.
Bonus if we get an attacking player.
