I still think there is a role here for Cairney, but that could be a deal that works for everyone.

Tabby

I think we need at least one quality CM that can push Lukic and Berge for a starting spot. Reed and Cairney aren't really close to that at this point.

Reed's time is surely up. Be sad to see TC leave but it has to happen sooner or later.

I struggle to see TC as interested in going down to the Championship to be kicked off the pitch. He's cheap and can still pick out a pass. Seems like the ideal 6th CM to me.

Reed on the other hand has likely seen his last match at the club. I still think he ends up at Burnley with Parker if he stays.

Not being provative but after the last few months, we need a new manager more than new players. ::angry::

Get a left back, because we've only really got robinson (Sess can play there, but i want him to stay up top)
Get a quality starting centre back (only bassey is quality  the rest are wonderbags)
Get an attacking mid that will actually take shots from distance (i think today against everton we've had more long range shots than in all the previous games this season combined)
Get a winger that can actually dribble and will take on defenders (sick of watching us rush forward, just to pass the ball back all the way to the keeper)
Get a striker

Tony Khan will do all this and spend 400 million this summer, im sure of it  :Khan_you_fix_it:

Have enjoyed watching Harrison's 100% commitment over the years and admire him as a great professional.
However, he no longer makes much of an impact on the pitch.
I feel it is also time for TC to move on.

TB1973

Harrison has been superb and put lot of effort I every game, and is one of those unseen players.
Same as Tom Carney been magic for club, mainly in Championship, both should not be forgotten, but time they moved on for fresh blood

Can't see Werner being effective against a low block.
We already resort to multiple sideways and backward passes when playing against this tactic.

I haven't watched him much but decent numbers and profile so hard to imagine we'd be at the front of the queue for him, with so few strikers about.

Craven Mad

This pains me to say, as he's been v important for us in recent years, but Leno's had a bit of a stinker this year and I think it's important for us to find some strong competition for him.

Statistically, he's let in over 6 more goals than he should have done (joint worst in the league) and has been at the v lower end for saves and distribution. More subjectively, I don't think he's known for organising his defence, and that might in part explain our disorganised back line this year too. I just think he's had a chance but isn't really performing at the level needed right now, and Benda is miles off starting quality too.

There's likely going to be some good names available this summer, including Nick Pope, Kelleher or Rui Silva, and I think we need to find someone who can try to make the No 1 position their own...

Tabby

Willock would be a slight upgrade on Reed I guess, but not exactly exciting as far as signings go. Was on fire when Newcastle loaned him but been pretty average since.

Think that talk of Cairney leaving is daft - continues to be of value & has class. Sakamoto with Coventry seems a really handy RW!
