I can only see one tweet relating to us and Lauriente, but from a quick google he can play on the left or through the middle and had a really good goalscoring season last time out. I think Sunderland had agreed a deal with him for around 20 million before it fell apart.

If true, I do wonder where that would leave the Nelson deal

Yeah they had £17 odd million agreed. Yeah 18 goals last season but in Serie B. In A looks like he was hitting around 5/7 goals and assists last few years so still very good. Knowing Fulham could be using it to leverage the Nelson deal. Or could be him plus Nelson as both Cant play left or right but were a lot shorter left I'd say especially with Iwobi away for a month at Afcon and with the Nelson injury risk. Who knows on all however!

Another big loss for them, always seemed to offer a threat down the left hand side.

Their replacement from Club Brugge is meant to be decent, can't say I know much about him but Brighton do have previous in terms of upgrading key players.

Which means their window is even less impressive. The only upgrade is in centre back positions, and even that was a free agent signing. Every other singing was a replacement for someone they've lost. I definitely prefer our position now.

That being said, I am very disappointed we haven't signed anyone yet. Players need time to settle in, especially in Marco's system, and faster we get them the better.

Having previously had our fingers burnt with other injury prone players(Kongolo,Mawson),I hope that this Nelson thing does not happen.
With Arsenal now having signed Maduke, a more enterprising move for us would be to enquire about a loan for winger Nwaneri.
However this is Fulham so I won't hold my breath.

I highly doubt Arsenal let Nwaneri go anywhere, especially after just signing a new monster contract.

I could potentially see a loan deal happen to be honest. His game time will be limited although from what I read, his signing a new contract was on the premise he'd play more and be deployed mostly centrally...

Nearly there - I think some will be pleased when the signing's revealed.

He'll rotate with Odegaard. Arsenal were really short on firepower last year, and he made a good contribution. Don't think they'll be letting him go on loan.

We could sign the entire PSG squad and some would be displeased

Potentially mate. Odegaard and how Rice being deployed further forward make me question how much pitch time he'll actually get to be honest.

Interesting debate.  Odegaard is one of their best players, and I really can't see him losing pitch time to anybody.  (One of my favorite players to watch, btw.)

Maybe a loan but with Trossard seemingly available and Martinelli wanted in Saudi I'm not sure even a loan would be possible

That and as I mentioned, I did emerald him signing a new deal was based on promised increased pitch time and being deployed more central so I'll guess we'll see.

As for the potential movements at Motspur today I would t be surprised if it's the GK'er and a new contract for Muniz....

1. Replace AP
2. Weaken Brentford even more though
