Summer Silly Season Transfer Thread 2025

I know I will get shouted down but i'd take Timo Werner as our 2/3rd striker and cover on the wing. Leipzig wanted him gone for dirt cheap earlier in the pre-season and i just think with Marco being the great man manager he is could get Werner back in confidence again   

He's certainly one that Silva could work with.....but hate to be that person again but......wages.....quite crazy how much that man is on! (Reportedly).

Out of interest where the 3rd centre forward is concerned? Would we take Vardy? Personally think there are more Pros than Cons even at his age for a season at least? It's the blue ribband position and seems like there is not a lot of choice this window or perhaps the budget we are shopping at?

Vardy is in talks with Everton thankfully!  A great player in his day but certainly no longer up to the standard required in the EPL plus he is 39 next birthday.

I have just done a search of X (twitter) for the latest news on Fulham using the hashtag FFC. I don't know much about our transfer rumours but I know a lot more about the second quarter returns of the Fauji Fertiliser Company. Urea is up.

Still had it in my head you could loan more but only 2 from UK based clubs......its now two only isn't it.....

That said, for me.....I'd want Nelson/Palinha over Sterling but thats because well.....im openly negative about him 

The competition between Berge, Palinha and Lukic would be crazy good for squad depth.....

The key selling point for Traore is his pace and power. He is turning 30 in January, which yes is still prime years for most players, but it's a fact that players begin to lose their edge in terms of physical attributes as they enter their thirties (and therefore have to rely on their technical ability to stay at the top level, as Willian did for us in his first season). I don't think Traore has that to fall back on.

Different sports but both Linford Christie and Carl Lewis won Olympic Golds at 32 and 31. Either he or his agent know the writings on the wall and his chances of building a decent pension fund, with the number of transfer windows available are diminishing. So seeing what's on offer elsewhere, makes sense.
