If he can be utilised across the front line, Richarlison would seem to make perfect sense for us. That's the kind of profile we need (if not necessarily the experience).

Im not totally against Richarlison but personally I want more pace with ability to take players on off the left as think that is something we really lacked. Really want a quick, skilful left winger and he doesn't fit that bill. Yes he can play striker as well so useful but personally I'd rather we bought a top left winger and a young striker with huge upsell potential or simply to step in when Raul goes.

I would hope we  would be looking at players like Giannis Konstantelias - who can play out wide on the left and is a decent finisher or Konstantinos Karetsas at Genk. Both would be worth a gamble IMO

Personally think Richarlison can't stand up to the rigours of a full season. Has had to many injuries at both Everton & Spurs and not just niggles. If you factor in his temperament as well? For all his abilities I struggle to put up a case for him being a solution for us. I tend to agree with point made about getting in pacey type forward/wingers

I just think you want to have the name "Konstant" on the back of your Fulham shirt...

It's a Konstant worry
The fixture list is out and no Marco contract extension or new player signings

Bassey the warrior

Tete being linked with Everton, will be absolutely gutted if he goes there. Come on Tony, sort his contract.

Aren't they hoping to sign Kyle Walker? They won't be signing both him and Tete.

Yes please. Rumoured a week or two ago. Robinson needs to have a word.

Not watched any games but superb scoring record when he's played although the Dutch league is a lot easier of course. Looks quick, strong, skilful and a brilliant finisher with all types of finish from the clips videos. Stats are superb pretty much brilliant all round for goals, assists, passing carries and take ons. Only 22. Believe injuries a slight concern but anything around £20m to £25m looks like a great option. Would be exciting I reckon.

Muniz 121
Raul 208
Nunez 227

But yeah let's go and spend £40m on a striker that's not as productive as what we have based on the whole of last season and block Muniz having a proper shot at starting as he comes into his prime.

My feelings too.  I think Muniz deserves a run in as the big dog, after all he's coming into his prime years.  I have nothing against seeking a third striker, but would have to be a youngster with potential and would likely see limited pitch time as he trains and learns the program.  Sure, Nunez is, in my view, a very good player, but really not sure we need him as we have two capable strikers at present.

Quote from: SerbianLad on June 17, 2025, 11:44:11 PMOf course Nunez is better than Werner, in isolation. For us, Werner would be a better signing, as:
a) he is 10x cheaper(literally)
b) he can play on the wing as well as a striker

Just can't wrap my head around this one, sorry.  That's FFC going the 'cheap' route again, rather than the 'quality' route.  I personally think Werner would be a big mistake, even at his affordable price, as he is a terrible finisher.  Just can't finish.  Heavy pass on Werner, no thanks.....

Edit:  Besides, from what I've seen of Werner, he plays mostly on the wing.  Really haven't seen much of him in striker role.  But still I don't want him in FFC shirt.

Muniz deserves a crack in an ideal world yes, but those stats don't mean much, Nunez is a better player, and if we genuinely were in a position to sign someone of his quality (which i highly doubt we are) we should 100% go for it IMO. His record in Portugal before Liverpool bought him is far better than anything Muniz has done.

MickTheBeard

He has had 2 expensive moves seems to pick up a few niggling injuries I'm not sure how old he is for trying to buy him at a high price which is not very good for a return which could be costly for a club of our size I know silva loves to bu older established players but we do not that luxury we need to make profit and scout young sellable assets as well as buy from other clubs buy 2 sell 1,don't give em away to the scap yard eg teti and cairney and the centre back who left for Chelsea 2 years ago it was obvious he wasn't going to sign should have moved him on .

Before he came to the PL, he usually played as a striker. It's got nothing to do with being cheap, Werner fits what we want better in terms of his profile and price range. It makes little sense to spend a considerable percentage of our budget(40m) on a striker with both Raul and Muniz here. Striker position is one of the positions where we have better depth than most.

They are but he'd be much more pricey. Either way, as it stands Tete will leave the club at the end of the month.

demeant0r

If Tete hasn't signed by now, less than two weeks to the end of his contract, then we've lost him. We need to look forward to signing a RB.

Twig

Everyone is saying we must sign a top RB but Castagne was bloody good before he got injured. And even played through injury for us whilst Tete was out, so there's no questioning his attitude either. Personally I could see him being our starter which would give us the relatively easier task of signing a hungry young player with potential.

May not be Tony may be Tete's agent, I'd pay him and get h8m in a 2 year deal with an option personally. But Im Sure we have a limit in what we are willing to pay

Decent player but missed 4 months or so with a knee injury last season
