So 10 days of the window to go. It's officially now a record spend for a Prem transfer window. FFC have contributed £0 to that record spend.

I get that anything can happen in the next 10 days but I'm finding this all terribly frustrating right now.

Yep, discounted bargain basement second hand offerings... complete with injury list as a free offer at the time of purchase.

Seriously, why are we looking in the damaged goods aisle. Surely we should be looking to improve with a marquee signing!
Did Emile Smith-Rowe improve us then ?
He will

Sadly she wasn't

Presuming Muniz and Raul stay, and presuming we are looking for a back up striker, I would bring in Jamie Vardy on a free transfer. He got 9 PL goals and 4 PL assists last season in a poor Leicester team, I think it's a no brainier - that's if he's on reasonable wages.

He also gives us something a little different to both Muniz and Raul and he could probably start next to one of them as well if we needed to approach a certain game in a different way.

Yes he did. He hasn't measured up to his price tag but he definitely made us better.

Figment of our imagination...doesn't exist.  ::thumb::

Add it to the list of either of the three:

Failed attempt,
Just a rumour,
Playing chicken for an extra penny off the deal.

Probably as pissed off with our transfer team as much as most of us.

Up his column.

To be honest, I won't be too unhappy if Nelson doesn't happen. His injury record throughout his career is absolutely abysmal. Great player on his day, but I'd prefer we signed someone we could rely on to be available when we need them.

TK is doing a Spurs, as in making a smaller bid than the club would accept to look like we tried to get the player when in fact he had no intention of getting them.

Wouldn't it just be Fulhamish if he got injured again  :slap:
Came on at start of second half & completed 90 minutes. Shakhtar drew 1-1.

WORTHINGFULHAM

Made an enquirey here, shown interest there, seem to be interested, keeping tabs, apparently made an offer, this is the worst start to a season i have ever seen. we had months to get the target players we wanted, and here we are already 2 weeks in to the season and all we got is a free keeper.we have a depleted squad, massively need players and we are pissing about with low ball offers, and we be left to battle it out last day of the window for whoever is left.shambles.

I think the Spurs analogy is spot on.

We're at risk of getting a similar reputation as Levy  - if we haven't got it already.
No one will want to do business with us  as we're just a pain to work with.
