Heroics? Let's not go overboard. He conceded a fairly soft goal in regular time and made two saves in penalties (one of which was not terribly difficult).

Against Wycombe Wanderers FFS!

You still have to save a penalty whoever takes it. If you want to be critical then blame Marco for not picking a team capable of beating Wycombe in 90 minutes.

Exactly it's a penalty. Which Really can go either way regardless of opposition. Not like he conceded multiple goals and was the main reason we found ourselves in that shootout

Do Find it rather strange how insistent some people are on going out their way to talk down or discredit our own player even when he did well. To what purpose? Guy saved 3 pens which ultimately kept us in the cup.

By the same token, not sure why some people need to go out of their way to make more of it than it was. There was nothing "heroic" about his performance against Wycombe.

And tbc he conceded one goal in regular time (their only shot on goal) with an xGOT of .07.
