Hmm...interesting...Sessegnon out?  Injured?

Where's Sess, not even on the bench and not listed as injured?

WindyCity

Castagne tasked to monitor Kamada/Munoz?  Tough assignment.  I think Munoz burned us last game against.

Sensible to have Castagne at left back...

Chuk with another chance to impress... Diop back on the bench.

Worrying to see Castagne at LB. Sess has been huge for us this season covering AR. Amissah not even on the bench?

hongkongfulham

Do you mean LB essenga?
Sam amissah is a CB

If ya mean essenga I saw nothing in the summer nor in youth games to suggest he's anywhere near ready to play in the premier league. Regularly out of position. Good luck to the kid and hope he pushes on and proves me wrong but he's not one of our youth im expecting to make the step up on current showing. Rather play Castagne , Cuenca or bassey there.

Castagne has played 78 times in his career on the left side (between LB and LM)

Possibly illness too. Feels like a late scratch or else I would have thought Cuenca in and Bassey to LB. Less disruption if unplanned to just plug Castagne in.

No I meant amissah! Admittedly I didn't know his favoured position was CB if it is, but I thought he looked assured at LB in the Frankfurt friendly when he came on for the injured sess.

I know Castagne plays at LB for Belgium sometimes but I'd still be a little concerned personally. No Munoz though, so he ll have an easier day at least 👍

Looks a bit lopsided to me....and I've been completely overlooked again

KentFulham

The weak point is Castagne at LB, he will get roasted as usual. Hopefully we bang many in to nit worry too much

Jules

I'd have played Bassey LB and Diop in the middle next to Andersen. Castagne is right footed so playing him LB narrows our play.

Agree - I expect we will find him out of position too. Bassey would make more sense and bring Cuenca in or Diop given they will be playing shortly during AFCON
