I guess he's thinking 'I hope we manage to get these players in that I wanted', I'd imagine he's got a very good idea of how transfers work.

So 3 weeks and 1 day since Arbeloa signed, we have signed nobody except for JKA who was signed before Arbeloa joined. We are not even close to signing one. I wonder what he must be thinking about Fulham and TK now.

If Twitter is accurate we're reasonably close to a double swoop on Real's academy.

As I posted above though, I choose to be negative about this because of how damn exciting it would be if if comes off.

Crazy we sold Diop without having a replacement ready to go.

It sounds like Nwaiwu's club has been moving the goalposts continually.

From what I understand, Fulham offered the exact price they asked for, it appears they were not expecting that, so they changed it all again.
I don't know how factual that is, but I was told in good faith.

But we hear this every summer.
All these moves fall through and it's always because the other club didn't play nice or fair.

Ok, it's clearly Fulham's fault, bearing in mind that none of us actually know what's going on.

Although wasn't the rumour that to get Cresswell, we'd need to sell Andersen? Which obviously would add just another hurdle to proceedings...

Wasn't expecting this much of a summer of change to be honest! But potentially looking at Diop, Andersen, Wilson, Jimenez all out (well I know we're already at 3 out of 4) and replaced by a couple of Madrista kids, a bloke from Turkey and a bloke from Lyon, all under 25!

Feels like our silliest season in a while, especially when you factor in the new coach

Spanish friend of mine here in Madrid, lifelong RM fan, told me Mastantuono had told RM that he "doesn't want to go to any league or club that isn't primarily Spanish speaking." Which indicates to me that his English levels are abysmal, and so is his willingness to learn or adapt. Also, my friend says he is crap anyways, but he thinks Garcia could become very good. So perhaps we dodged a bullet. Still, just one man's opinion.
