What happened with Nwaiwu deal ? My god,  it is really painful stuff following our transfer attempts.
We do have serious issues when it comes to targeting and sealing deals for new players...

Its so frustrating with our club - every transfer seems a long drawn out saga. I fully understand the need to extract every £ of value but each transfer seems so painfully protracted

Why is it aaaaaalways the club doing everything wrong for some. It's like some of you think everything is a one sided deal with some blue eyed kid all by himself and then Tony with a fat cigar in the corner of his mouth on the other other side of the table just slamming a couple of bags of money on the table and chattering "here kid, is that good enough for ya?".
Jay has given a wealth of reasons on why this particular deal might be going slow, but hey ho, "it's the club".

And why is it always excuses for the club for others? Maybe people have different personalities and opinions and maybe 'some' shouldn't be so infantile about that and try to accept it

Because it is grating to me to see fellow supporters time and time again think that we are doing nothing but everything wrong and sometimes i would just love to see some genuine excitement instead of constant nagging about how the apocalypse draws nigh.
Apologies for acting out on that frustration for once, if that makes me infantile, know what, i can live happily with it, part of my "half full glass" personality I suppose.

Agreed. Muniz had one run of 8 games in 5 years where he looked good and it was totally out of character. Kevin on the other hand whilst not yet consistently brilliant has already shown signs of class very regularly. In the next year or so he'll have a top season and will be with £80-100m or more. I wouldn't be surprised if ESR does the same too.

If the deal is done for these 2 young Spanish lads , how come they aren't confirmed and training with the team. ? Just seems a waste of a week . Anyone else who gets a " here we go " post is on the website within a few hours telling everyone how they have been a Bournemouth fan since they were a kid, dream come true etc

The team only finished in Portugal on Saturday night and wont have been at work yesterday?

They'll likely be introduced to the guys today, considering they were reported to be having medicals yesterday. They will have needed a day or 2 to move here here from spain into wherever they are being housed.

They don't need announcements to be at Motspur Park or fly out to be with the team though. Assuming work permits and medicals have gone to plan I'm sure they'll be at Motspur today or tomorrow after shooting press in new kits, but we won't see it until announcements are formalised.

Also, not true regarding the Here we go at all, it's all variable, just look at Diomande, he got the here we go ages ago to Real Madrid - and he's still working through stuff with agent etc. That just a tweet that says all is agreed between clubs and players usually, still logistics and work permits and medicals from there to do.

We've been hearing this imagined running commentary day after day. The only fact we know is they aren't signed yet.

If journalistic reports are to be believed, and let's face it they very often aren't,  Roma's overtures towards Kevin come after missing out on Summerville and then making a bid for Schade...yes Kevin Schade of Brentford (for 45m Euros).  Apparently they like a Kevin or two in the eternal city.  As transfer strategies go, you might call it Kevinus Maximus.

I don't expect our Kevin to be going anywhere this summer.

Sincerely couldn't care less if you wanna call it "imagined" at this point...

None of this is from me - only passing on what's been said for those interested. This is coming from those who have been getting info on it and passing it on via other mediums away from here (thank god). Often backed by screenshots of supposed sources messages etc. over the last couple of weeks on this story, everything they've said so far on this deal has been corroborated, sometimes later - by major outlets. So I have no real reason to doubt this one personally, as it's materialising as laid out. Is it possible some of it's "imagined"? There is a possibility, sure...but it seems unlikely on the evidence shared.

All timelines mentioned in the message you're responding to, tie in with reputable media sources who've been right about the deal from the start by the way...

Matteo from Marcia confirmed the players flew Saturday for their medicals.

That meant between Sunday-Today were likely to be medical, followed by press.
Players undergoing medical was then reported by Sky on Sunday

Medical was said to have been passed earlier.

If they passed the medicals yesterday then they would have done training this morning which was the first session since they returned from Portugal. The photo shoot would have been after training and after meeting the squad. You may find it hard to believe but people can do more than one thing in a day. Use a little bit of logic instead of being incredibly dense.

There is an  entire department and head of marketing that does this and it takes times coordinate photoshoot, contents creators, editing and checking. It's not like it's the last day of the transfer window where everybody is available and needs to push something out.

Part of me hopes it still happens late in the window but sounds like they've been a nightmare to deal with so on we move.
