Made the RB role his own in pre season and the system is setup for him to thrive. Unless they are offering mega cash, I can imagine Tim wanting to stay under AA.

Quote from: General on August 17, 2026, 11:51:48 AMAccording to the best ITK we've got, which is FulhamFanNews, we're apparently looking for a winger, CM, and RCB bare minimum on top of what we've already got. I think it seems we're also looking for a RB too.

I don't think it's a qustion of whether we're blowing money or not, or managing expectations necessarily - I think that could just be the reality of where we're at.

We've been looking at Bellanova and Hector Fort, Boudial?, Pitarch, and whoever in the wing spots,.

It all tracks... According to Fabrizio Romano we've had a bit rejected for Bellanova, and according to Itk's Pitarch was apparently at Motspur park earlier this summer, but Real are holding on to him until they find a meaningful replacement, without feeling they need to move him on unless they find one they like - though they are apparently looking.

I think given our squad, we at the least need a CM/DM and Pitarch would be my first choice.. A RB, I understand the reasons - though like Castagne and Tete, they're getting older and their contracts are winding down currently... A winger, we'll we haven't really replaced Wilson yet.

Cheers Gen, that helps and I get the plan as well, lets hope it works out!

Chesnuts playing well but I do
Worry about his defensive duties up against a speedy winger.

I think Oscar Bobb is classy but I like him in a  floating role don't think he is suited on the right.

Quote from: Neutral Zone Ultra on August 17, 2026, 12:52:09 PMLuke Harris joining Wigan on loan. This will be his fifth EFL loan in the last two years, I think it's fair to say this is last chance saloon for him having any career at Fulham.

He has no future at Fulham.

Certainlyfeels like Luke Harris window has passed here, this feels more like an attempt from the club to get him in the shop window for some pure profit. IF he suddenly has some ungodly loan performance out the blue, who knows...but think it's more likely we just hope he plays well enough that someone pays us something for him
In fairness he is only 21 and a half, so still quite young, but agreed that he really needs to be making an impact at Wigan. I would have more faith if he'd done anything at any of his loan spells but he hasn't really.
I Remember Marco commenting on Harris 3/4 years he was going to be a Top Top player.

Think he, Palacios and Kevin could all float around the front three quite well if they all played together.

So play him as the alternative right winger which could save us some money, I remember both Damien Duff & Simon Davies started their careers as fullbacks who then played as wingers, they did alright for us, but also helped out the fullbacks in defending.

Don't know how trustworthy it is but according to this we've had a bid accepted for Romain Del Castillo, 30 year old right winger at Brest.

He is good going forward but on Saturday the first half the winger he was up against had him on toast . If you look at most teams wingers in the pre league he is going to get destroyed

He is not good enough going forward to be a winger. By all accounts we are looking at signing a new RB that can contribute more in the final 3rd and that is at RB let alone RW.

Who will be scapegoated if he and Andersen leave though?

Quote from: Bracken White on August 17, 2026, 05:45:00 PMStill believe we need a RW to compliment our attack & give the strikers better service. LHS of attack as is, gives more problems.

Nwaneri on loan, Ait at centre back and Pitarch if Madrid get Zubimendi..

That'll be lovely stuff.

If we got those three in, and kept who we have at the club, then it would be a great summer. As long as we find our goalscoring knack soon, and defence.  Lol

And the hammy end bogs stay trouble free Mr General!

Whatever happens between you and the hammy end bogs is between you two, but I hope you find a way forward together that's healthy
I think one will piss off the other.

I agree, although my wishbone hopes its true I think Turkey are trying to get a leg over about a winger especially coming from Brest. I would take it with a spoon of bread sauce
Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

Whoever jumps in and gets sent off to cost us a place in Europe I suppose

Quote from: onecupsoon on August 17, 2026, 04:34:17 PMI'm probably the odd one out but I think we could easily live with what we have unless someone jumps ship.
I would tend to agree but I really worry for Joa playing a high line as his main attribute is playing QB from deep and it seems like we will play through the lines more. He's talented so maybe he can adjust but my heart says he will get burned most weeks on the counter. So many premiership front threes are too athletic and we need someone who can rotate in and not damage the system
