I'll be kind here and just say this is wrong. Diop was a nice backup to have but if he'd have played more over the past couple of seasons we'd have certainly been worse off in the table.

Jesus, alright man, literally can not be quantified by stats as too many variations (opponent, team available around them etc etc) that alter these, and doesn't make them a predictor of exactly what would have happened, so we'll never know with any certainty for you to be here stating it like its fact. I think season before last Anderson played better than this year on the whole, this season however I think there are games when Diops form deserved more starts where Anderson wasn't performing as an individual. Its an opinion, and ya free to disagree with it but talking like it can be definitively ruled one way or another is a bit much.

I don't think it's an option at this point. There was some rumour they gave him a wage boost and we already met their valuation allegedly and they just raised it again and/or kept changing the structure. Sadly we don't have unlimited funds to spend on a CB either and we've no guarantees they won't just keep messing us about. Shame as I think his profile is perfect really

Big Ali Wahid believer, but he's not quite ready for the premier league yet imo. Needs to develop and work on his strength as he's absolutely tiny and a year riding rough challenges and competing against fully grown men will hopefully do him well. Did really well in moments in the game for Boreham wood but he was playing against Leeds U21s and even then the game was a bit physical for him before settling into his rhythm. He's the more naturally talented of him and Zepa for me but the latter has strength and size that seems to have put him further up the food chain, despite my own reservations really.

Hoping in 2027/28 he's ready either to step up again to a higher league and or contribute with some minutes here, we shall see.
