Slightly off the present topic, a friend of mine said either last pre season or the one before get this player Fulham and only across the Road at the time we didn't Dewsbury Hall would've been brilliant for us.

Yes
People are willing to support a fellow Fulham fan who puts plenty effort in to collate and share everything that happens with Fulham in one place. For the cost of a cup of coffee it's hardly earth shattering news that some people are willing to support others efforts and ventures in life

What a distasteful and unnecessary tone. Says alot.

Also,if this is regarding FFNs reliability ...he has in fact been pretty on the ball with alot this summer, often before it's appeared elsewhere. More so now than in previous years and does appear he has managed to build some connections with different reporters etc now

If it's not something you fancy doing giving some support to a Fulham fan who's pursuing getting into journalism. Don't do it, but also perhaps consider not being a d*** about it. That much is free

Im waiting for Jack Kelly to start charging

I wonder where this performance leaves the Manuel Angel transfer ? (another AA youth discovery)

Will TK pause before opening the chequebook Tuesday evening ? 🤔

Quote from: jayffc on August 30, 2026, 04:05:19 PMAnderson was poor again - sloppy, will be replaced, just too slow. Rightly being pushed out the team at this point.

Leno has had an absolute mare again. Too slow on the ball, hoofing up to small man over and over is utterly stupid, especially after standing on the ball for 20 seconds each time.

Iwobi and berge poor again, quicker recycling and ability to turn the press needed. Hopefully Manuel angel helps this. Alex particularly has been too slow to move the ball around in the centre.

Another natural RW would be much appreciated so Sess doesn't have to play there. Seems we are in the market for one thankfully

Glad we will have some pace and power coming in at RB too. Be nice to have that threat added.

Poor man management of Muniz today. Just scored and then in a game our striker isn't making an impact he doesn't even get 10minutes. Imagine that doesn't feel great.

I wish we had the budget for a GK but sadly not sure we have enough in the kitty for a decent one this window without a significant sale elsewhere.

More work to do  but the team just didn't show up today. We knew there would be an adjustment period but a couple players we are looking to replace at least are clearly not really suited to how we want to play

Manuel Angel like our other 2 Spanish players look fine Footballers and top players in the making but theyve come from playing at a lower grade from what I'm been told anyway they need time to adjust to the pace of Premier League football.

Garcia is the most experienced and ready. It's a big gamble as it needs the Arbeloa project to work or we could have a group of players wondering what they're doing here and a wider squad built for a very specific playing style.

Chi_FFC

Yeah, I'd be glad to be proven wrong but for a variety of reasons I absolutely HATE the rumored Manuel Angel signing.

I'm really wondering if TK knew just how different Marco's tactics were to AA's and if he knew AA's tactics would require a near clearout of the current squad.

I'm surprised you even need to ask that question.

Agreed, totally nonsensical, oh well a fool and his money and all that.

And hopefully Charles turns out to be just as good as prime Casemiro in order to cover for him. . .

Holy crap, he will get eaten by PL defenders

Just like Kante, Silva, Cazorla, Torreira and Scholes did..

Xavi, Veratti and Iniesta turned out alright too..
But we are already overstocked with small lightweights and they are struggling to compete in the Premier League despite there undoubted ability.

I can totally see the concerns regarding Manuels size, he is deceptively good on the ball for his size and press resistant though. But, of course, different level in the prem. If it is indeed to be him, here's hoping he has the quality to step up.

These kids are adjusting to the prem, they are gonna have good and bad days, ultimately though we have already seen in flashes their brilliance too. Just as we shouldn't get too carried away when they do something insane, we probably shouldn't get too carried away when they have an off day. Bad day at the office this week, we go again next. Hopefully with a bit more fire in the belly at home to Palace.

€35 million will get the number one target, Chibuike Nwaiwu!

Trusty Steed

Nwaiwu Doesn't give me confidence...... quite a lot of yellow and red cards, and a few own goals....... He's probably got great potential, but i keep feeling he's a cross between Roy Keane, Jamie Carrager & Titus Bramble  :slap:

Yeah not convinced Manuel is the answer or what we need and would be disappointed if he was the only option we got in at CM as he's tiny and doesn't seem ready and we need someone to step in and dominate the centre of midfield.

Happy to take a punt on him like JKA and give him some time in the U21s and time around the first team, but does smack a bit more of desperation if we didn't get a more experienced player through the door

Just wish it was a little more phased. We could be looking at a team where so many players are adapting to a new league simultaneously. All for these lads as they obviously have talent, and we had to do something about the squad. It just feels so sudden.

Hopefully we can bring in some players that can lead and won't need to adapt as well. Raul was perhaps our key leadership figure alongside maybe TC, in that he brought calm and led by example on the pitch, and visibly has a good impact on his younger teammates.

Wouldn't mind Kevin Danso. Haven't seen much of him but thought he defended well at the World Cup

Quote from: Jim© on August 30, 2026, 04:43:58 PMI've said it all along, a top keeper should have been the priority. The goal conceded with Leno going for the ball with his feet after dawdling out was Sunday league.
Agree Jim. I thought he should have been braver and dived out with his hands, would have given an extra metre or so for the cross.
