Clearly a win win win here. We get a good fee considering age, contract length and what we paid for him once upon a time.
Everton get a really good RB that will suit Moyes style and Tete gets to play in a system that will cater to his strengths

Bring on Ratiu!

Just checked the Lyon website says we paid €3.2m for Tete.. if that's the case then he has to go down as an absolute bargain. Especially if we are selling for £9m.

Lyon have a 10% sell on fee too though

The 10% only kicks in if we receive €10m (about £9.1m).

Quote from: General on August 30, 2026, 12:26:24 PMInteresting to see all the moves being made and conversations now the deadline is approaching

Hugo larsson from Eintracht Frankfurt looks exciting, a 22 Yr old DM with plenty of game time.

Soulé also looks like an exciting prospect. Not a starter last season for Roma as they finished 3rd in Serie A, but got plenty of game time and 11 g/a.

Sad if Tete does leave, on his day arguably the best RB in the league and genuinely world class. His motm performance vs Chelsea at Stamford Bridge will stay in memory.

That being said, if we get in one of Ratiu, Hector, Bellanova or whomever and they're younger on less wages then it makes a lot of sense for all involved.

Tete deserves a new contract and to go to Everton at this point of his career is a good end for him.

Will be interesting to see whether the players we get in are all permanent or some loans. Hopefully the key players will be perms
I think it's a bit of a stretch to say Tete is "world class". Very good yes but not WC.

Sadly she wasn't

Hugo larsson is another option at CM/DM
Have we actually been linked with him? I assumed that the "other" club was Chelsea seeing as Enzo likely is leaving for City

Interesting, thats why I posted the original rumor from Plattenberg with Palace and a mystery club

Exactly the type of players we should be going for.

Interesting to see how many players we do end up with. Angel and/or Larsson, Soule, Ratiu, a new RCB

FulhamFanNews thinks we'll get four in by the end of the window. Seems atm one will be leaving in Tete.

So that's a RW, RB, DM/CM, and a RCB

Arbeloa really doesn't rate our right sided options

Reports sounding like Soule to us looks unlikely as FFN had been discussing on his patreon.

Shame, but perhaps he's not sold on a move here yet. Looks like as expected RW will go to the wire

Chi_FFC

People are actually paying for the FFN patreon??? Unbelievable.

Yes
People are willing to support a fellow Fulham fan who puts plenty effort in to collate and share everything that happens with Fulham in one place. For the cost of a cup of coffee it's hardly earth shattering news that some people are willing to support others efforts and ventures in life

What a distasteful and unnecessary tone. Says alot.

Also,if this is regarding FFNs reliability ...he has in fact been pretty on the ball with alot this summer, often before it's appeared elsewhere. More so now than in previous years and does appear he has managed to build some connections with different reporters etc now

If it's not something you fancy doing giving some support to a Fulham fan who's pursuing getting into journalism. Don't do it, but also perhaps consider not being a d*** about it. That much is free

For me, RW is the least important we have Bobb. And Zepa i feel will do well off the bench when needed. And as has been said before, RCB is a MUST. So important we get a quality, young and pacey RCB in to really have a chance of progression. How easy that will be remains to be seen.
Old skool 90's cheesy quaver

Eh, I read that post he unlocked the other day and frankly I'd have been embarrassed to ask someone to pay for that slop.

Good for you. I'm sure that makes you feel very big and clever

Rj Fulham

So the Everton deal for Tete has been reported at 9.4 Mil, given his age and tendency for injury problems, that's quite a good bit of business, done great work for us over the years, but Castagne is more suited to the system, and it seems like Andrei Ratiu will be coming in as well, so we don't need 3 in that role.

Harry Wilson dropped to the bench for Leeds in their second game for Okafor.

Frankly where he's been most impactful from through the majority of his career.

Not surprised. As mentioned earlier. Di Marzio is normally wrong for us. Always wait and see if another journalist backs it up before paying any attention.

TBF the interest is there, apparently we have made contact, it's just that there are other options including Newcastle that seem more likely destinations as things stand if they make the move, but well see. Not over yet 🤞

I would have thought that well on was only valid for the duration of his initial contract (and any option) not for any subsequent contract renewals

So if he signed an initial 3 year deal (plus an option to extend) then that would be 4 years the sell on was valid for

Is that standard practice for a sell on clause? My understanding was it applies as long as he's at the club.

Mbow not started for Paris FC
One of the targets we've been heavily linked to

FFC007

After today... I'd expect some incomings by Tuesday.

Goalkeeper would be nice...
