Agree with Mick the Beard, good, small (i'll throw in weak) players are not a problem but we have too many Bobb, Kevin, Chuk, Wilson and Iwobi (did you see the 50/50 tackle he pulled out of in the first few minutes at Anfield?). We need more powerful players in the engine room to be able to compete.

Talking about small I remember a winger many years ago hardly got in 1st team Barry friend he  would love it with all these dwarfs.Did not our top man who runs the present youth set up mention that they do take on some smaller boys winger wasim  was released by Chelsea but at present he's a plus let's hope he improves.But modern day soccer the boys are bigger and stronger and yes some of our 1st team get knocked off the ball to easily that is why i can't get my head round bobb and our present young prodigy king has no body weight I would have thought being established in the premier league this move is a backward step.

I know, I do hate those players like Messi, Iniesta, Maradona, Scholes....

That Griezman will never make it as a footballer

Our big signing for next season will probably be Chucky boy.

Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

@jolslover

Scienza is a great player, don't think we would be able to sign him if Southampton get promoted though..

There is an advertisement on official website for AEW Wrestling in London Sunday 30th August 2026! With Tony in town and transfer window closing the following day? It's not like we leave our business to the last knockings?
Let's hope that's not an indicator?

Chibuike Nwaiwu! A beast of a defender! Fulham will do well to get him but there's a lot of interest as well from other clubs

Not sold on him really, squad player but shouldn't be the big signing

I said it more for amusement than being serious, should have included laughing emoji.

Harvey Elliott has become a forgotten man after Villa have decided to not play him in order to avoid triggering permanent deal.

He was very young when he left, but he's a very capable player. Could be worth exploring, but I know would divide opinion. Risk would be that we might already have too many shorter players atm and don't really need another one.

He's a RW, isn't he? We don't need another RW. That's already Bobb and Chuk.

Liverpool used him as a winger, an 8 and a 10 I believe. Fairly decent chance he ends up being a playmaker at PL level as I don't think he's quite got the pace to be a winger at this level
