According to reports today Fulham's incoming manager Alvaro Arbeloa has told Tony Khan the players he will allow to leave to help fund a rebuild of the squad.



As always summers and a World Cup mean we get linked with loads and loads if they have a decent game we will be linked.



Obviously links sometimes are correct some are not so correct.



Arbeloa has said he would be happy for Smith Rowe, Berge, Castagne, Anderson and Reed to leave this summer.



Berge has been linked to Man Utd, Everton, Hull City



Fenerbahçe and Lazio are intrested in Smith Rowe



Coventry City and Roma are intrested in Castagne



Anderson has been linked to Leverkusen and Galatasaray



Reed has been linked to West Ham and Middlesbrough

Halauyaaaa!Finally a manager that wants to clear out the dead wood and stop the slow decline Silva enjoyed seeing week in week out. I would imagine if he is not offloading Muniz he will go for at least 1, if not two forwards.

The risk with a high turnover of players and not keeping the core to a team is that you lose the spirit within the squad and you also risk new players not gelling together. If we are letting that many players go that would be similar to what we did when we came up under Parker and look what happened there.

I get what you mean, but equally this is often the outcome when a club has such a stale transfer set up that Silva/SK/Tk oversaw.

Couple of thoughts. I'm sure Arbeloa & TK have discussed 'the next stage'. I don't for one minute think they are going to jettison many of the experienced players. If we're to drive age & costs down we must graft very talented younger players from far and wide onto an experienced structure. Look at the time it's taken ESR to bed in. Kevin I have high hopes for but we're not going to populate the senior squad from our own academy. There aren't enough players of Prem potential (& a number on here wondering if Josh will train on).

Speed dating young players in without that culture is, for me, a recipe for relegation

Muniz isnt a good ebough backup. We need better quality

£5m looks very decent value for alot of potential upside. Liked him for the u21s and definately a bit of an enigma. Has something about him, hopefully he develops into something but a good value punt either way. 19 years old by the time the season starts - if we have someone like AA at the helm maybe he'll get a look in - but wouldnt be averse to him going out on loan somewhere he cant start regularly (champ or league 1)

We aren't a big six club that can spend £200m in one window, you need to get used to the idea that unless someone offers a big sum for him, he will be our backup striker this season because we will likely put big money into one striker knowing we also need a couple of wingers & CM's alongside potentially two defenders as well
