Boey is 26 in a few days, aside from reserve games, he has played 120 games in his career,
There's a problem there somewhere, what it is i do not know, but a 26 year old should have played a lot more games.

Everton sign Maitland-Niles can play full back or right side of midfield

Nah, you guys just moan and moan.

Personally I'm happier with the cash for Diop than having two lumps at CB, plus potentially recouping nothing for Diop and a big loss on Andersen. They did the right thing.

Not convinced by that. I do like a moan, but feel more balanced than that. But each to their own.

I don't think anyone is doubting that we should have sold Diop, more that we shouldn't have sold him and then waited more than a month to get a replacement in.

Wonder if we can't find Tete replacement and Everton have told us we need to get someone in now hence Naitland Miles?

Bassey the warrior

Chaotic end to the window, hopefully there's still time to get in the players we need. Number 1 being a CB. I wouldn't mind if we keep Tete.

I would agree, but I do think they thought Nwaiwu was done and then it went sour (due to new agent and or club who knows) that may not have been something we thought would happen. The agruement then is who were our backups to Nwaiwu, we may never know who they were or if we had any or if they were available or we were priced out.

For me a lot of rumours are just that and a lot of paper stuff is just to sell copy or get some clicks.

thats my thinking too they want Tete but have acted in case they do not get him. Seemingly Bayern dont want to loan Boey to Gala again, and Galadont want to pay the 15 million, maybe a loan with Obligation or Option gets it done for us?

Agree. TK is playing a dangerous game not having a RCB in already. It's one thing to be filling out the squad by waiting for the best deals at the end of the window. This is the opposite. Fulham need a RCB, everyone knows it. Going to be very fortunate if we end up with quality. Whoever the club get I doubt it will be a top choice for what they stylistically wanted.

Fulham's summer transfer window looks set to end with a bang, as the Cottagers close in on two Transfer Deadline Day signings. The west London club have been busy during the off-season, bringing in a host of new talent as manager Alvaro Arbeloa looks to build his own side capable of pushing on in the Premier League this season.

He brought into both striker Gonzalo Garcia - who scored on his Premier League debut against Chelsea - and midfielder Cesar Palacios from his former club Real Madrid for a combined fee of around £43m, along with rising midfield star Shea Charles in a £30m deal from Southampton. On top of that, the club took up their option to buy Jonah Kusi-Asare from Bayern Munich, after he played on Craven Cottage on loan last season.

Fulham aren't done yet, however, with The Athletic reporting that Sweden international midfielder Hugo Larsson is heading to the club to undergo a medical, after the Cottagers agreed a fee of £22m with his club, Eintracht Frankfurt. The deal will be viewed as somewhat of a coup, with Newcastle United believed to have been chasing the player earlier this summer alongside both Brentford and Crystal Palace.

They were right to sell Diop, Andersen is better, but neither really fits under Arbeloa.

If we hadn't sold Diop, he would just be sitting there as a spare part and then potentially run his contract down if Ipswich moved on to another target. We got a seriously good price for him.
Agreed, especially when you compare it to what Chelsea supposedly got for Tosin (who I know is not loved by folks here, but is a better CB than Issa).

Congrats to the club on actually doing some decisive early business for once.

Polishing a turd that.

Did you see how bad Diop was against United? Not a miss for us at all

Yep. Deal off.

Chaotic.

I would rather we keep Tete (although he may be slightly peed off about the situation).  Boey appears to be our 3rd choice pick at best after Bellanova and Ratiu. Seems like a risk signing as well given his injury record.

FFC007

With Everton signing Niles that could mean the Tete deal is off as we can't get a replacement.

Just reading stuff online so it looks like we're getting two central midfielders in Hugo Larsson and Manuel Ángel.

Not seeing to much regarding a centre back, right back or winger which we really need. I doubt we'll be brining 5 players in today. My guess is we're bringing in two midfielders to free up Iwobi to play further up the pitch.

Controversial but I wouldn't mind having Tosin back, pretty decent in the air and not slow. Prone to the odd error when losing concentration. Spurs paying just £7m plus add ons. Seems like a great deal.

That being said, he's probably on big wages, so that would be an issue.

There have been several CB links (Matsima, Tomori, Affengruber)
