They were dug out of a swamp in Africa and shipped over to England and delivered to the banks of the River Thames,  Fulham by barge just a few months after Guido Fawkes failed in his attempt to blow up the houses of parliament in the Gun Powder plot in 1605. 
So that makes them approximately 421 years old.

I think Fulham are missing a great opportunity to sell Buckets in the club shop.  :slap:

I used to wonder why people used to bring buckets into the HE in the old days, thought it was for the kids to stand on, but now I think it was for the bogs in the grounds.

I am not sure that will allowed due to the fact that like the Cottage and the Johnny Haynes Stand, the Excrement End is protected under English Heritage as it is an Historic Site.
