We're apparently up and singing outside the stadium at 11 AM this morning

By the 60th minute they'd cleared the stadium and buggered off home

It's a matter of time

Great to see, hope they go down

Have to say that won't help inspire the team. I will always stay to the end irrespective of how bad the performance was. Also never boo the team, I might leave without applauding the team and save my criticism for this forum.

I hope they go down because their supporters are delusional and feel so entitled.

They had a manager that won them a trophy but it wasn't good enough for them. He sacrificed League position to prioritise a trophy, but those idiots either could not understand that or felt they were 'too good' to also sacrifice the League.

Relegation could not happen to a more deserving supporter base.

I don't really care about Spurs but completely disagree with this.

I really like Postecoglou and wanted him to do well, not only because he is Greek but because I enjoyed watching that style of attacking football. However, you can't deny that their football last year was really bad and very different from Ange's first year. Perhaps it was the amount of injuries and that he had to compromise and prioritise Europe, but still you would expect a bit of better of football (not talking about results). Even the win at the Europa League final was really ugly and had nothing to do with his style of football, not that it matters of course.

From what I remember though, not all their fans wanted Postecoglou gone. Some did, while others wanted him to continue this year and it took some time for their board to decide to get rid of him. Does this make their fans delusional and entitled? I am not so sure.

If it does, then I think that all fans, regardless of the team we support, are or eventually become delusional and entitiled. Think about Chelsea and Manchester United fans wanting the title and finding it difficult to accept that they are not on that level anymore. Think about West Ham fans wanting to watch better football than what Moyes served them on his last year (we wanted the same thing when Parker got us promoted). Actually, you don't even have to look that far: just take a look at this forum and see how many people want Silva gone, because being around 7th-12th is apparently not good enough for a club like Fulham.

Do all these make us delusional and entitled or just ambitious and wanting to achieve more? I think we are all of these, but what others think depends on what the result is. Frank doing worse than Postecoglou makes the Tottenham fans delusional and entitled - if he had done better, they would have been wise and correct to ask for a change. Same thing for the managers that succeeded Moyes at West Ham and same thing if Manager X replaces Silva here in the summer: if we get Europe, we will have been ambitious and made the right decision to get rid of Silva; if we flirt with relegation, we will have been delusional and entitled, not appreciating what we had till we lost it.

If you ask me Poste got extremely lucky going all the way in that cup run, certainly wasn't some genius mastermind thing, he just got extremely jammy, the final was shocking, painful to watch

He did well at Celtic tho for whatever that's worth

I'd love Spurs to get relegated personally, due to theyre fan base being total runts, can't stand them, I'm
Sure  they showed us zero sympathy when pony Fulham got relegated twice over the space of 3 seasons

I can't see that their expectations are any different to all other clubs, look how many supporters want Silva gone, or fed up with his style of play.

Yeah well Silva's only a mid Prem manager and that's his level. He'll never drive us into the top six where we clearly deserve to be. Oh yes, and we rarely smash teams by more than than odd goal (yes I know we just won 3-1 but that was purely because the opposition were cr4p).

Beating teams by more than the odd goal. Over our league history, 785 of our 1677 wins have been by the odd goal (that's 46.8%). So nearly half of our wins have been "narrow wins".

This season 9 of our 13 wins have been by the odd goal, so 69%. Recognising that this season is a small sample, we are  seeing more narrow wins than usual.

And in Silva's four PL seasons 32 of our 56 wins have been by the odd goal (57%).

I agree with the lucky bit for the majority of the games, however, I thought he did a good job tactically in the final. Both him and Amorim are extremely stubborn managers who stick to their principles regardless of everything, but in the final, Postecoglou seemed like he sacrificed his principles in order to get the result, and ultimately, that surprise factor is what got them the title, imo

Yep agreed but that's why stubbornness gets you know where, hopefully he learnt from that

I bet the season we came up from the Championship our winning by 1 goal will have been dwarfed by games we won by 2+ goals...

And I can't believe that the clown they have as a manager is really called Ivor Tudor.

He is Croatian for starters. Perhaps he was watching old Ivor videos of him banging in the goals for the Whites and then got the name Tudor from a history book. Spurs lurch from one crisis to another- all self-made. What a waste of money on that stadium as well.

I remember a Fulham vs Everton, back in 1967, we scored in the 70th minute and Everton equalised in the last minute........then in added time Bobby Moss on his home debut, all 5 foot five of him, headed the winner. Never leave early.

I believe his actual name is Igor Tudor.
He started with Hajduk Split youth team, staying for 3 years, then went on to Juventus for 9 seasons and finally returned to Hajduk Split. A defender but somewhat of an injury-prone player it appears. Was known for his tight marking, physicality and was tactically astute.
Logical is just in the name - don't expect it has anything to do with my thought process, because I AM the man who sold the world.
